#2 son wanted to build an X-wing fighter so I purchased a 1:72 scale Red Squadron X-wing by Ban Dai. I have to say this kit is immaculately designed. The detail is excellent, there are no ejector pin marks, the sprue attachments are all in smart places, and the parts fit is almost perfect. You almost do not need glue. And yet it has north of 100 parts.

So I strongly recommend Ban Dai.

A 1:144 scale model of the MCRN Tachi / Rocinante is now available from Fantastic Plastic in cast resin. You have to ask about it via email though because it's not up on their site yet. 114 pcs or thereabouts.

T-34 coming together nicely. Out of the box Tamiya 1:35. Going with the basic green overcoated with white (lime) for winter, and a weathered look.

Game you -MIGHT- like: From the Depths. Basically building kooky vehicles, guns, missile silos, etc. and fighting the computer. Steepest learning curve of any game I've ever played.

Kewl.

I suppose scale fantasy and military minis also apply. Ima post a few pix. I feel Im always learning tecnique but am doing pretty well with that. When the T-34 is ready I'll post it as well.

If others have pix of their stuff I'd like to see it.

Not sure if the point came across but: lots of users have made "replica" type constructs with that, ships, planes, spaceships, etc.

Not the best pix. Ipad photo in sunlight. These are Reaper bones 28 mm series. The bones series are made from truly awful polyvinyl that loses detail when cast, so put a lot of effort into building depth with dry-brushing and washing over the bade coat. The green dragon is dry brushed with metallic gold, the red with metallic copper.
