Was wondering the same. They gonna be eating each other, I suppose?

I've not read the story. I've enjoyed Dan Simmons' writing style in the few things of his I've read. I have doubts whether his writing style will all come out in the scripts of TV series, though, so hopefully the storytelling is good enough.

It's great to have another series based on a good writer's novel, either way. This one looks to have some great set quality with good actors, too.

Ahh, yes. The Franklin expedition. I figured it was based on that one, but checked to confirm.

Was just wondering if Simmons took some supernatural/horror liberties in the telling of it. Notably since the crew notoriously suffered from lead poisoning (which can cause mental issues), illnesses, and other bad shit that probably made them nutty as squirrel turds near the end. Something that could make for easy "untrustworthy character" perception being relayed to the reader. I hope it did to some extent, anyway.

8-)

Watched a few episodes on AMC awhile back, before pulling the cable plug. Great stuff! But I'll just wait until it's on streaming service to finish the rest; no hurr, got too much to do right now.
