If the idea supposes that one has to take the idea on faith, it's not worth pursuing.

An excellent explanation of why global warming is bullshit.

What contains the universe? And what contains what contains it? It must end but what is beyond it, nothingness?

At what point does the universe "end". It must end, and it must have began. Where did the universe 'begin'? Where could it 'begin' - among what? What existed before the universe existed? A nothingness? Where did it exist, and what contained it?

My mind is blown. I've thought about this a lot. There's no conclusion. Ppl have absolutely no idea how anything exists, or what nothing exists. Where would nothing exist?

8-)

Fucking hell, you just made me realise that the very first redpill I ever got was when my dad told me the exact same thing at around the age of 12. It is very true, we exist on our little ball of rock worrying about shit that won't mean anything once our short lifespans are over, while a vast unfathomable uncaring universe will continue on.

Maybe Lovecraft was on to something. ;)

We exist on a tiny small rock w/in a universe that must end but can't end but must end but can't end but must end but...- It must have begun, but where? What existed before anything existed? At a point where existence must end etc and so on. Mind blowing to think about too carefully.

I'm going to go play the ants game I've been having a good time w/. You guys can contemplate the universe. Good luck w/ dat.

Is that a proof that a god exists?

Lots of cool stuff about event horizons.

Booring.

I like this much better.

And explains things much better, anyway better than any religion. ;)

So it goes.
