Labour do it too, look up Lutfur Rahman.

But criminality is criminality at the end of the day.

Was it Labour, or was it rather Rahman? That is the question. ;)

That Rahman seems to be more like an oriental despot than a borough mayor.

Then I am curious about are the parliamentary elections done in the same way as the local elections, especially postal voting? :?

But difficult it is to have a practically foolproof postal voting? Just do it.
If there is that much voter fraud with [/b]postal voting, then STOP doing it until it is fixed and the means are developed to reduce/eliminate the fraud.

you start to wonder---I thnk that it is either the State of Washington or Oregon in the US that went to an all postal voting process.

They called it an “election gimmick” and a “campaign gag”, but the new president-elect of Austria once presided over his party’s campaign that declared: “Anyone who loves Austria must be shit”.
Alexander Van der Bellen – who appears to have defeated the Freedom Party’s Norbert Hofer by around just 30,000 of nearly five million votes – has a track record of opposing the nation state as a concept, and his own as a reality.

In 2007, while he was leader of the Austrian Greens, the party published a picture of a dog with the Austrian flag in its mouth. The poster read: “Take your flag for your gag”, followed by the declaration that anyone who loves the country “must be sh*t”.

Looks like Austria will probably get what they deserve electing Herr Van der Bellen.

Labour here are mad up for postal voting and it was them (ie Blair) who brought it in, there are a few Tories who are not so mad up for it as postal voters tend to be left wing. So yeah, they do it. :p

Some are, some aren't. It's a broad church.

I'm sure Labourites would say similar. I've heard that Blair is a right winger enough from them after all.

Well isn't this interesting:

Is the President-Elect of Austria Mentally Incompetent?

Posted on June 28, 2016 by Baron Bodissey

Most readers will remember the closely-contested second round of the Austrian presidential election, in which the Green candidate eked out a narrow victory over the FPÖ candidate, thanks to a large number of postal votes that tipped the balance. There were “irregularities” in the voting process, to the point where the FPÖ is officially contesting the result.

Now a new twist has emerged: it seems that the mental competence of the president-elect, Alexander Van der Bellen of the Green Party, has been thrown into question. According to the report, back in March an unnamed party petitioned to establish a guardianship for Mr. Van der Bellen, due to his impaired mental capacity.

Note: If the date is correct, the petition was filed before the first round of the presidential election.

The story has appeared at Politically Incorrect and Unzensuriert.at, in German and English:
