Never a fan of Heros, decided to reinstall CDDA (Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead Review | Don't Drink Toilet Water), after watching this

The CDDA video linked to this

Downloaded at https://elona.en.uptodown.com/windows/download You select English or Japanese at startup.

May try this

I've played CDDA and Elona a few years ago.

CDDA is pretty awesome but I haven't really delved far into it.

Elona is what a roguelike would be if it had schizophrenia. It also has anime looking characters, which always repulses me. :?

I wonder if that guy will do more roguelike reviews.

Seems to be stuck with Heroes.

I noticed that he had been playing the old Might & Magic RPGs, and reviewing them. Namely the old 2.5D open world M&M 6-8. I thought those things were ugly as curdled sin, even back when they were fairly new. I guess he just went off in the Heroes of M&M direction afterward. Heroes 3 was nice, in a light strategy sorta way.

M&M 5 and 6 were my favs of the M&M RPG series; I always enjoyed those old tile-based RPGs, and that was one of the best. Probably doesn't seem as big of a game nowadays.

LOL, Heroes Free sounds like a Min-Maxer paradise. Never heard of her.
