The game isn't that bad. I won't give it thumbs down.

It does the same thing other 'stealth' fps games do which is:

I'm hidden below a 'parapet' for lack of a better description. I've spent 10 minutes sneaking into such a sweet position undetected. I have LOS on the target. But when I hold the left trigger to aim - I'm aimed at the fucking parapet! So I have to stand up in broad daylight to get a bead  Every enemy then spots me (no shit!) standing up like an asshole and I get gunned down.

Well that's just fucking great isn't it

I don't reckon IRL I could get eyes on, slide up my rifle and get the clear shot while still hidden could I. No. I have to stand up like an asshole and draw fire. Loveley

I am disappoint.

The cover system is very hit & miss, no doubt. I'm having lotsa fun playing this one co op. I don't even mind GR:W solo. A 4-way sync shot is very satisfying.

It puts me in mind of Jagged Alliance. That helps me overlook all the flaws.

I wanted to clarify I do like the game. It's a common flaw in almost all fps. The game really does look and feel fantastic other than that. I'll get a lot of play time b/c the world is vast. Breaking into the different compounds is pretty cool and the friendly AI isn't bad either. I'd like to play coop if I had any xbox buds :(

Example of gameplay u have 3 buds w/ you. You can mark out 3 targets, tell them to fire, or aim at a fourth and they'll fire when you do. Also a drone u deploy to get a good view of the battlefield, mark targets, plan the attack. When everything goes well it's pretty danged satisfying.

Later in the game I can call in more friendlies and off board strikes, but I haven't unlocked those yet.

I give it a thumb and a half up, maybe 3 quarters. I may upgrade my opinion of this game in later missions. I run into stuff that's interesting.

This is a fair review IMO. The open beta gave millions the chance to try it for themselves and about half decided to buy it on release.

I've got this one on XBone. PM me your XBL gamertag if you want to play co-op some time.

I still play this. There's still a crapload to do.

The locals don't worry if all weapons are holstered and slung (although I'm armed to the teeth). Sometimes I get caught by a local sneaking in for a kill  They don't sound the alarm, it doesn't even matter, but it scares im.

So, as a rpg I was wondering what I'd whisper. I think:

"nosotros, no problemas tus usted(es). :+: SHHHHHH :+:"

That's all I know. "We no problems to you(s) :+:SHHHHHH:+:" It's something close to that.

I dunno. I'd hope that would get almost what I'm try to say. :+:SHHHHH:+: I think it's intervocabulary.

Cool game. I think it's pretty immersive. There's some intense missions. I bought it months ago, still play it, and haven't finished all the missions not even close. For whatever that's worth.

Overwatch and GR:W are lotsa fun, especially with friends, but they are very different experiences. I'm still playing both.

For sure. I haven't even been everywhere yet.

My play time: 5d 9h 55mn Provinces discovered: 95%

The price should start dropping on this one soon. I recommend it to anyone remotely interested in the genre. If it can be gotten on the cheap it's a no brainer.

I rarely play shooters. When I do it is multi-player only, exclusively "tactical" shooters. None of that bunny-hopping, taking 5 rounds to center mass but still running while shooting perfectly from the hip bullshit.

Anyway.. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will be out before long.

The MP previews I've seen made it look like ass-tons of fun. 8-)

Since I've enjoyed the earlier ones, Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm, it'll be a no-brainer if I get the FPS itch.
