I stick to ArmA3. I have a weekly fight with my son and brothers every Saturday.

It's probably the most open ended game I've ever seen. Maps are 20 x 20 km and you can go anywhere.

That's the reason I picked it up in a sale late last year.

But I rarely get in an FPS mood. So it's yet unplayed.

RS: Vietnam might get me more in the mood, at some point, since I never really played a good Vietnam multi-player FPS.

Planted mines all around a radio station before turning it on. It's hard to protect them...

Killed a shitload of civilians

It was a accident! give me a break  gesh

The radio is online so whatever blah blah blah the omelette is made.

Reminds me of good 'ole SWAT 3 multi-player memories. Where the op-for could just take civvie hostages in the middle of a firefight, and woe be anyone shooting at them! Likely hitting a hostage, incurring a huge victory penalty!

Hrrmmm.. I even recall SWAT 2 being fun during late '90s LAN party geekery play. Albeit more for boobie trap purposes. Plus fucking with the K-9s. With traps. Damn K-9 AI loved walking through tripwire grenade or C4 doorway rigs. The K-9 handler players had to try keeping up with those German Shepherds while they ran Towards The Enemy, else they'd lose sight and the dog would likely get killed before they found out exactly which room(s) the player terrorist team was in. But if they hauled ass to keep up, they were more likely to get blow'd up by aforementioned traps set off by their K-9s tracking the bad guys.

Protect those eggs!!! I don't mind so much when a rebel goes down. Guns For Hire.

Tip: The HTI (Hard Target Interdiction) sniper can take out a vehicle, including choppers, in 1 or 2 shots with suppressor removed. Don't leave home without it. ;)

This game has probably the best meteorological effects I've ever seen. If the sun pokes out while it's raining from the right angles, you'll get a rainbow.

Sound also takes time to carry.
