Well theres another sov advantage:

The mtn and mech divs I sent were large formation 22-26 width, starting templates, with the mech having 5 lt tanks to 6+ mot, the mtn large as well with 20+ width, useful formations already you can easily upgrade to deadly after a few weeks of combat, GER/ITA have nothing on them that early, JPN does but lacks AT and won´t show as AI.

these complete outclass the Spanish, and the Euro fascist volunteers.

Still got that game to finish, if Scharf/Chijo are up for it.

Tim is up for it but he can only do Sunday at 7pm (ie 2pm EST) or earlier on Saturday (like Saturday afternoon, 2pm, so something like 9am EST).

Thoughts?

Would prefer Sunday, Saturday afternoon would clash with Leher TS vs. 1. FC Köln, 1st round German FA Cup ;)

I will not be able to participate this time. I have an upcoming trip and the next few days are going to be pretty busy.

But go ahead if you want and enjoy.

Mmm well, a three way, may as well not bother then.

We can keep it on the back burner for another day.

Too bad :( That leaves three? Yeah good call not bothering, my Nipponese would be fighting the AI in that case...

A tease for the new DLC (Waking the Tiger) that will be coming out "soon":

The announcement on Steam:

Quote:
Hearts Of Iron IV gets new expansion “Waking the Tiger”
Hearts of Iron IV - Paradox_bus

Earn Your Stripes in Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger
STOCKHOLM - 15 November 2017
The Chinese Republic replaced the tottering empire only decades earlier, and is unprepared for its greatest challenge. China is ideologically divided as well, providing an appetizing target for aggressive neighbors. But the Chinese people are resilient and can unite to protect their homeland.

In Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger, Paradox Development Studio focuses on the Chinese front - the first front of the Second World War. Here, Japan turned its imperialist appetites before the other great powers got involved. New National Focuses dedicated to Nationalist and Communist China guide you through alternate histories that could save or unite the Chinese nation. But under whose guidance?

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger will be available soon on major digital distribution channels for the suggested retail price of $19.99 and is available for pre-order now.

Features in Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger include:

Chinese National Focuses: Divided and under threat, China has great reserves of manpower and diplomatic flexibility
Chain of Command: Unite your armies under a field marshal who can take advantage of the many skills of the generals under his direction.
Decisions and Missions: Historical decisions and national missions give your new places to spend Political Power, as you deal with domestic politics or start special projects.
General Traits and Abilities: Generals’ traits can now unlock powerful Command Power abilities, allowing great flexibility and creativity.
Updated Japanese Focus Tree: More attention to the Asian campaign and alternate history paths, including restoring Civilian Government or allying with the feared Soviets.
Updated German Focus Tree: New possible histories for the German Reich, including the chance to replace Hitler with the exiled Kaiser, or lead a democratic Germany against Stalin.
Acclimatization: Over time, troops will learn how to survive in the desert or harsh winters, giving these veterans an edge on the battlefield.
And More: Capturing battlefield equipment, and a revitalized air war system that has room for Volunteer air wings.

As usual, Waking the Tiger will also be accompanied by a free patch - 1.5 Cornflakes.

And a couple of the Paradox developers discussing/teasing some of the new features:

As HOI does now, not all the new changes require purchase of a DLC.

They have some update called "cornflakes" which includes some new features--these are free.

Some of the new feature that (I believe) are included in the cornflakes update include things like:
----You will be able to assign some of your transport aircraft to do supply drops on units that might be short of supplies/cut off from supply lines
----You will be able to assign air groups to ground units. So when your ground unit is advancing and moves out of a geographical "air region" those air units will follow the ground units and continue providing air support to them
----You will be able to assign generals as a theater commander and then assign up to 5 generals under them (Imagine this for Germany. Von Rundstedt assigned as your "Eastern Front" theater commander and then assigning smaller groups under other generals to Von Rundstedt)

Then the new DLC "Waking the Tiger", with a focus on China, will require purchase.
