The official 0.7.5 update video.

I have seen no official date yet for when the patch is to drop, HOWEVER, a friend on a DISCORD that I am on said last night that Wargaming have in the past dropped a patch the Wedesday after the preliminary session for it on the Public Test Server finishes.

I believe that the PTS session concluded yesterday (its no longer up as of now).
So it is quite possible that the 0.7.5 update will drop tomorrow (Wednesday).

If you have last minute changes that you want to make to your American cruisers (changing commanders, adding a premium camo to a ship, using your free XP to get that next tier US cruiser, etc), NOW is the time to do so.

I just used about 120k in free XP + the XP on my tier 8 (soon to be tier 7) New Orleans to unlock the tier 9 (soon to be tier 8) Baltimore.
By unlocking and purchasing the Baltimore, I should also get the new tier 9 US cruiser (at no charge) when the patch updates.

I can confirm that the patch is being dropped as I type this.

If the T9 Baltimore was the one to have, then I was already set. :geek:

Looking over things......

I got the ships as they described:Baltimore, New Orleans, Pensacola each dropped down a tier, existing commanders stayed with the tier, NOT the ship.

Cleveland moved to Tier 8 light cruiser branch. You get a new 8 point commander for it.
Since I don't like an 8 pt commander for Cleveland, I shifted my 13 pt former commander of the old Cleveland (post patch Pensacola), and shifted him back to the Cleveland.

NOTE---IMPORTANT:
Do one battle (any kind including co-op) in the new Tier 6 Pensacola and it will unlock 190,000 in Elite Commander XP. You can use that to either boost the new tier 8 Cleveland commander, OR shift another commander to your Tiern 8 Cleveland and use some Elite Commander XP to skip through the training penalty. It's best to pay the 200,000 credits to cover half the training, then use the Elite Commander XP if you don't want to grind other 50%.
You only have until June 29 to complete this

As a result of the patch I also got about 30 million in credits.
The Ammunition & Consumables for all the affected cruisers were reset to nothing, so you have to go back and re-select them. The horde of credits you get will cover those costs and then some.

Have fun sailing!

It's my understanding that the rest of the American light cruiser line (Tiers 6, 7, 9 and 10) is to be implemented with the 0.7.6 patch.

Luckily I got 5-6 American 16 point commanders in my reserve. And I still have my Xmas dabloon haul for retraining them.

Gonna be trying the Buffalo tonight. See what she can do, range still sucks ass.

I could love this game.

I just don't get the whole unlock bullshit and lack of any tangible objectives.

The game has superb mechanics and the core game is amazing. Then it has this shitty monetization apparatus glued on it's head that gets in the way of having fun.

And because some game in some distant past made a shit ton of money this way now every game has to be made the same fucking way as if it's the only acceptable way to make games anymore.

Fuck you F2P!
