If they don't have it in the game, it's not hard to download some FAF somewhere. I thought I'd seen some somewhere.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't included by default at some point. If it's not already available.

I've seen people flying around with Canuckistani livery on it. May only be user-created ones right now.

So their new 14 aircraft equivalent of a Flaming Cliffs 4 is coming out soon.

Looks like they're adding stuff like the F-5, MiG-21, the two Korean era jets, and a trainer to the non-clickable cockpit stable of flyable aircraft in it. Plus it appears to be adding a mouse & keyboard flying option for new & low budget gamers (which is fine for such introductions I imagine).

Dunno if I'll upgrade since I'd only be adding the Korean & trainer aircraft which I'm not all that interested in flying compared to what I already have.

Quite happy to hear that the upgraded MiG-29 flight model is in testing right now. :coolsmiley: Seems like a couple years we've been waiting on it. That sexy beast is gonna be fun to toss around.

This should be interesting. A US former F-18 pilot flying the F-18 on DCS:

I've watched the first video and will be watching the 2nd one shortly.

It's pretty good. They've just added the IR Maverick missiles. Very well behaved airplane.

So they have the F-18's targeting pod working now, to some extent?

I actually purchased the Hornet & Persian Gulf package deal when it was on sale. Still didn't have plans to learn the F-18 just yet, since it's still not complete, but I definitely wanted the Gulf map so I just got them together and saved about 30-40 dollars. *shrug*

When I even get back to DCS. Still been putting off arranging my hardware, and I need to fuck with my monitor's wall mount some more. Too many hobbies.

I don't think the pod is out yet, though another patch is imminent. HARM may be on the short list.

If you haven't yet. get some of Chuck's guides. He easily explains how everything works. Hornet hasn't been updated yet, which I'm waiting for.

Glad you reminded me of Chuck's guides.

My old Mirage 2000 PDF is an older one missing some of the release udpates. Grabbed the newer version.
