I stumbled onto this:



I had never seen this one before.
It explains certain things from the tv series that I had not known before.

I know that there are other "unaired" TV pilots out there.

I know that Gilligan's Island had one.

I will search for it and post it if it us on You Tube.

If anyone else finds such similar unaired tv pilot episodes, feel free to post them in this thread.

I also know that Star Trek had a different, unaired pilot but was not able to find the full episode.

Here are the opening credits though:



Someone doing a comparison of the opening credits (versions 1 & 2--neither with Shatner)



The "Host" of this apparently does it in sign language (which I do not know), but you can skip through the silent parts to get to the glimpse into the bridge of the Enterprise.

I think that they later worked bits and pieces of this into an original series episode
