Brakin a stick w/ a brick on the sand
Riding a wave in the wake of an old sedan

Deep in my dreams I still hear her callin'
"If you're alone I'll come home"

Doesn't make sense really, but the song flows.

The second chord in the strum is one my favorite chords. Some stuff just flows 8-)

"Overhead the Albatross hangs motionless upon the air"

There's a reason these guys are popular. Gilmour is the greatest guitar player who's ever lived, and Roger Waters is the greatest song writer who ever lived. Dark Side of the Moon is still the 3rd best top selling album. For 40 years.

I like the guys in the director chairs under the umbrella soaking it in  The other guys are all techs moving around making stuff works as expected, those 2 guys are just chilling 8-)

Not only the performers but the technicians as well. It's just pros, the best in their bidness doing what they do. It's impressive.

I read that during the 'Delicate Sound of Thunder' tour it cost over 2 millions beans to do just 1 showing. In my opinion that's impressive.

Lesser known Pink Stuff

You got to be crazy, you gotta have a real need
You gotta sleep on your toes and when you're on the streets
You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat
With your eyes closed

Best in surround sound. Turn it up. I listened to this in German air raid shelters converted into hippie night clubs

d00g, that's not Pink Floyd. It might be Roger Waters w/ a band?

That's not David Gilmour. He doesn't play like that. If I'm wrong I'll send u 10 beans.

Animals ...could be the best Floyd Album...Waters hated it because it was pretty much impromptu and bits and pieces of songs and thoughts they put together in a few sessions in the studio, the rest of the band however enjoyed it .... ...some of their rawest jams studio wise ....if Animals is the band pulling off half-assed offerings and getting together to jam and share ideas , it goes to show what they were capable of musicianship wise .......one of my all time favorite Floyd offerings....I love the attention and dedication Waters brings when he takes the helm, and he spins a serious story , but pre dark side like obscured by clouds .....awesome stuff that seems to be players enjoying their craft and a little more music centered rather than concept driven ... here is Floyd doing what they named after : Blues

Pink Floyd - Blues, live at the B.B.C., 1971

Love Echos though the maniacal penguin zombie march section replete with zombie whale sounds and dive boming zombie gulls...well you need to be in certain mood for that ......when it comes out of that part and goes into those big fat chords and driving rhythm ......dayum that some musical weaving of texture .....yee haw !!!
