Apparently, fellatio was a big thing in the Wild West.

It's a big thing now, unless it's too small to stick out of the bear suit.

This is now free viewing for Amazon Prime subscribers. I have to say that Brad Dourif is outstanding as Doc Cochrane. I had only seen him in one dimensional cartoon like villain roles in Lynch's Dune and in Alien Resurrection. He has done a marvelous job in Deadwood. I'm closing in on the end of Season 1.

Loved Deadwood. Wife and I watched it during it's first run and then rewatched it again before watching the movie that wrapped it all up.

Also have to say that they have taken very few liberties with the actual history of the people portrayed in the films. The bit players (Trixie, Alma Garrett, etc) are fictional. But they pretty much nailed Jane Canary true to life (another EXCELLENT performance there by Robin Weigert), and Seth Bullock (Olyphant) was well. As far as I can tell the only major deviation from history is Swearingen -- who in the Deadwood movie I guess is dying in the Gem Theater but whom in reality was gunned down late one night in the streets of Denver Colorado.
