It's almost Junta time.

To say that Venezuela is a cluster-f*** is to give a bad name to f******.

It should be learning point no. 237 about central command economies...but it won't. Some idiot will try the same thing in 3 years and poor people will vote for it. What is it with former Spanish colonies?

Venezuela nationalized GM's assets. Fuck GM. That's what they get for offshoring.

I was under the impression, from the article, that the Venezuelan GM plant was originally meant to supply Venezuela, and maybe some other South American countries.

Of course it wouldn't surprise me if they used it to completely off-shore specific stuff in a bid for cheap labor, or later did so.

Don't care who their target customer base is. Make it in the USA or get fucked when someone nationalizes your assets. I wouldn't waste a drop of Federal US political or military clout trying to fix things for GM when shit happens overseas.

The partee continues ...

Quote:
... After weeks of violent protests that left at least 22 people dead, Venezuelans will take to the streets Saturday dressed in white to pay tribute to those killed in anti-government demonstrations this month.

The peaceful demonstrations planned nationwide come after at least 13 people were killed in one day in the capital of Caracas.

I think the people are DARING the BDIC ... to mow them down ... and that is a great strategy ... because if he does ... he is probably doomed ... these people may not be so dumb after all ... time will tell ...

Thousands of Venezuelans marched in silence to remember those killed in three weeks of protests against the government of President Nicolas Maduro.
In the capital, Caracas, protestors dressed in white were blocked from reaching the office of the Roman Catholic archdiocese.
Similar marches took place across the country.

Soooooo.... tell me.

Who else predicted this whole Communist timeline happening, as it has, awhile back?

Most of us, no?

Where's Red James when you need to Neener Neener and "Told You So"? Does someone know the Rite of Commie Summoning?
