Quote:
The latest move allows all-Cossack units to be formed for the National Guard. This organization was created in 2016 as a paramilitary organization of some 400,000 soldiers and police. This National Guard is officially a “rapid reaction” force for dealing with terrorism or any other threat to Russia that requires quick and decisive action. There was opposition in parliament to proposed new laws that allowed the National Guard to fire on Russian citizens whenever the government wanted to without warning. In addition, National Guard leaders are to be immune to any prosecution for anything they are ordered to do

Ahh. Just like old times.

The Czar's own hitmen. Err Hetmen. Same thing. :P

YLE article on Finnish War of Independence (aka Finnish Civil War by revisionist marxists).

They write of how the Red Guards (rebels) who sided with Russian troops to maintain Finland as a part of communist Russia seized young students at rifle point and forced them in large numbers to enlist to Red Guards.

On this one occasion they slaughtered almost all the students they arrested from an agricultural school during a train trip - many of the students were butchered with bayonets and their valuables and clothes were immediately looted from their corpses by the Reds.

This and many other atrocities committed by Red rebels shocked government's official military - the White Civil Guards - and as they captured Reds they exacted bloody vengeance as also noted within the article although many modern Finnish marxists cry about the treatment the murderous Reds faced after their defeat.

For they only went on a murderous rampage among the "bourgeois" - and they had very loose definitions for bourgeois, priests, people you had beef with earlier, anyone who looked at you the wrong way or had a nice pair of shoes you wanted for yourself.

"Unfortunately" the Reds didn't have much time to get to full speed with their atrocities since they met fierce opposition from government forces which pushed them back on all fronts. In fact many of the late war Red atrocities were committed with a sense of haste, such as the murder of large number of White prisoners with hand grenades.

But the article itself promotes a much overlooked fact - how many of the Reds actually joined willingly and how many were forced through various means, either at gunpoint or out of fear of being seen as bourgeois if they didn't join?

Commies get free helicopter rides.

Even before helicopters were in use. ;)

Why are you spreading falsehoods?

Finland declared her independence 1917-12-06. The independence was accepted by Russia, France and Sweden 1918-01-04 [1]. More accpetances followed: Germany 1918-01-06, Denmark and Norway 1918-01-10.

Finland did not fight against Russia, Lenin's Russia was the first country to accept Finnish independence (with a twist).

But then Lening provoked Finnish Social Democratic Party to rebel against the legal government. In anticipation that the new Red Finland would join the Soviet Union. The mutiny started 1918-01-27 to overthrow the legal government.

Finland was accepted as an independent nation before the mutiny started, hence civil war is a proper expression.

So it goes.

There were Russian forces in the country. The Russian forces were committing rampant crime against the civilians.

Government forces tried to disarm and detain Russian forces.

The Reds on the other hand allied with the Russian forces, fighting side by side. The communists from Russia sent shit ton of supplies for Red rebels.

The socialists wanted to gain independence when they had the majority in parliament. When they lost the majority they suddenly switched their positions - they didn't want an independent country based on "pig rule", they'd rather be part of communist Russia than live in a free democracy ran by bourgeois parties.

And that itself is a abstraction and simplification - the socialists were in fact strongly and bitterly divided over the matter - many social democrats opposed the rebellion strictly but they didn't have enough influence to stop it from happening. After they had lost the social democrat approach won over and the strategy of bloody revolution was let go. And indeed the social democrats were able to actually help their voters by improving their rights and condition through numerous massive reforms after the war - legitimizing their credo that their goals could best be achieved through the legal democratic process than through wholesale murder of the "lords and anyone we don't like" and establishment of "tyranny of proletariat".

And by the way nero, go fuck yourself.

The only depression here is found in your pants.

I've never implied depression in any form. You on the other hand have insisted that I have one to which I replied that my two primary issues are not depression but lack of time and access to more risk capital.

Though I will hand it to you that most exchanges with you seem to be depressing even you're expecting them to be depressing. Maybe because I still think that you are able to make a reasonably coherent post or respond to me without calling me a lying Nazi.

It's not like you feel the burden of providing your every notion or claim with sizable selection of source material. But when I did that you just shrugged them off as with Tuomioja's case as "oh well, he's said a couple of silly things" when in reality his entire career is built on treason and undermining Finnish defenses and contempt for Finnish reservist, USA and Israel while always having endless sympathy for Soviet Union and Putin.

While you try so hard to engage in your stupid little mind games and trolling (pissing off other people for your personal amusement) you neglect that other people are trying to have a reasonable conversation while trying to ignore your antics.

While I admit that you on rare occasion make sense, I also must say that interaction with you tends to be like having a rash - the more you ignore it the less you are annoyed by it.

But really, you are a sack of shit, nero and you know it. I really cannot fathom how delusional you must be to think that someone might wish to share a pint with you after the kind of behavior that you pull off for your personal amusement.

And note that I do not really expect any real response or that you even read this. I am merely making my opinion of you generally known.

OK, no depression there. You were busy with business reason and did some soul searching.A good reason to be several week AWOL. But you should be a moderator, but the moreator thing is a joke anyway.

But when you make a proposition, and I counter tat with facts, you go with personal attacks.

Grow up boy. ;)

Nice report, asshole. You've never in your life changed the contents of a quote as a joke or insult?

In case you didn't realize, the original is just *above* the quote and I did *point it out* that I had changed the quote.

Grow up boy.
