Trey Gowdy questions DHS flunky about 2nd amendment and secret lists

It seems we have some good people asking good questions but what do all these dog and pony show hearings actually accomplished??

Sad news from the House:

Breaking: Trey Gowdy Retiring From Congress

Mr Gowdy is a pit bull when it comes to questioning "guests" of the House.

I am sad to see him go.

Some of his better moments:

Sounds like he is doing what is best for him and his family. Sad to see him moving out of congress, but happy if he finds better satisfaction in other roles.

That's unfortunate for the rule of law in this country.

I suppose that being a watchdog over the DC swamp probably starts making you rather pessimistic after dealing with so much crooked shit all the time.

I'm not surprised he'd want a change after having to deal with the steady stream of swamp creatures for years.

Hopefully others can fill the hole.

Then again.. it's being speculated that his "return to the justice system" may be in preparation for a Supreme Court or Federal Judicial position.

Will be interesting to see what happens regarding Ginsberg's seat, either way.

He would be an excellent choice for a Supreme Court seat. Excellent.

What is Gowdy saying about the Nunes dossier?

But perhaps it is another Gowdy you mean?

No...pretty sure I know who I am talking about and pretty sure my endorsement of him for the Supreme Court is based on a slightly broader calculation than his current visibility in the media. I'm not a leftist, you understand.
