Driver's crash, fiery death at Travis Air Force Base have investigators stumped

By Amy Lieu | Fox News

Sean Ragan, FBI special agent in charge, briefs reporters about a crash at the main gate of Travis Air Force Base, Calif., March 23, 2018. (Associated Press)

Investigators said Friday that they are stumped as to why a man drove a flaming minivan -- carrying propane tanks and gasoline containers -- into Travis Air Force Base in Northern California this week, and they see no evidence of terrorism.

A man identified as Hafiz Kazi, 51, from Sausalito, Calif., died in the Kia minivan Wednesday after veering through the main gate at Travis and crashing, FBI Sacramento agent Sean Ragan said.

"Why did this individual end up at the front gate of Travis Air Base on fire and now deceased?” Ragan said. “We don't have the answers to that.”

- FBI Sacramento agent Sean Ragan
Local emergency teams, including fire, police and medical personnel, responded to the crash, Fox 40 Sacramento reported. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was also called to the scene.

Kazi had no known links to terrorism, did not leave behind a manifesto or any threats or explanation, and a video found on a cellphone provided no clue.

Investigators know of no one else associated with the incident nor any threats to the air base or surrounding community. Kazi also never served in the military and has no known ties to the air base, Ragan said.

No shots were fired as he entered the base, and it was only after the fire was out and responders broke through the locked minivan doors to aid Kazi that they realized the vehicle was loaded with five propane tanks, three gallon-size gasoline cans and several cigarette lighters, Ragan said. Also found was a gym bag with personal effects and three cellphones.

Kazi's body was so badly burned that he had to be identified by fingerprints.

“The investigation that we're doing right now is trying to piece together his life, trying to piece together what led up to this event, and attempt to determine why he was there and why he had those items in his vehicle,” Ragan said.

He said Kazi was a native of India who has lived in the U.S. since 1993 and was a permanent legal resident. Ragan said investigators have been unable to find any of Kazi's family living in the U.S., but a family member in India has been notified of Kazi's death.

He said Kazi appeared to work as a cab driver in the past, but investigators haven't determined if he was currently employed. It was not clear if he owned the minivan.

"We don't have any evidence of any religious affiliation or anything at this point," Ragan said. "As of right now, we know of no other associates."

Investigators have interviewed some of Kazi's acquaintances and are working on some search warrants, he said. They are also scouring social media, so far without result.

Calls to several numbers associated with Kazi were not returned Friday.

About 10,000 people live and work on the major air force base, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco.

“I am incredibly proud of how our first responders addressed the situation with the goal of keeping Travis and the local community out of harm’s way,” Col. John Klein, 60th Air Mobility Wing commander told the San Franscisco Chronicle.

MOre on that attack at Travis AFB:

Place? Travis AFB. Action? Suicide. Method? Propane and Gasoline. Motive? Mystery.

Posted on March 24, 2018 by Baron Bodissey

We reported in last night’s news feed that a man named Hafiz Kazi crashed a vehicle loaded with gasoline cans and propane tanks into Travis Air Force Base in California yesterday, killing himself. Mr. Kazi had apparently locked the doors of his van and then ignited some of the flammables before making his suicide run.

This morning’s media reports about the incident emphasized that investigators had no clue as to what Mr. Kazi’s motive might have been. They are variously stumped, mystified, perplexed, baffled, and at a loss. Sometimes people do bizarre things like fill their vehicles up with explosives and ram them into military bases, and you just can’t figure out why.

The fact that Hafiz Kazi was originally from India, rather than some more obviously Muslim utopia such as Pakistan or Yemen, makes the official perplexity that much easier. Investigators “don’t have any evidence of any religious affiliation”. He’s Indian, so he’s probably a Hindu, or a Sikh, or maybe even a Buddhist, right?

Wrong. I can identify Mr. Kazi as a Muslim with complete assurance, due to his first name. Hafiz or hafez is a designation used by Muslims to identify a man who has memorized the Koran. No non-Muslim would be called “Hafiz”. And I doubt any Muslim who converted to another religion would retain the name.

This official bewilderment is more than just a combination of stupidity and ignorance. It is deliberate misdirection (kitman), drawing attention away from the Religion of Peace for as long as possible, until the charade can no longer be maintained.

In this case, it’s obvious that none of the media writers knows the meaning of hafiz, or they never would have bothered.

Ten Algerians Arrested For Sexual Abuse of Underage Girls

by CHRIS TOMLINSON
24 Mar 2018

Ten Algerian migrant men were arrested in eastern Spain this week after they were alleged to have sexually abused three underage girls by luring them to an apartment offering drugs and money.
The ten migrants were brought to court on charges of sexual abuse in the city of Alicante, where they are believed to have sexually molested and assaulted three girls aged 14, 15, and 17, Le Point reports.

The men are said to have met the young girls and offered them both drugs and money to come back with them to an apartment in the city. All three of the girls, according to the Spanish police, had run away from a boarding school for troubled young people shortly before they met the group of migrant men.

A police statement about the affair stated that one of the girls “was locked up for 24 hours, during which group members assaulted her and sexually abused her repeatedly.”

The police also said they were still looking for one of the victims, the 17-year-old, who had yet to come forward and noted that the Algerians, two of whom are supposed to be underage themselves, are also suspected of robbery.

The case bears some similarity to that of Italian teen Pamela Mastropietro, who was brutally murdered in Italy earlier this year, allegedly by a Nigerian migrant drug dealer. The Nigerian is said to have lured 18-year-old Mastropietro with the promise of drugs after she had run away from a rehabilitation clinic for young addicts.

Spain has become a major entry point to Europe for illegal migrants in recent months, after the decline in numbers arriving via the central Mediterranean route to Italy last summer.

Earlier this year, Fabrice Leggeri, head of the European Union border agency Frontex, warned that “especially the western Mediterranean route is under scrutiny,” and noted that “the irregular migration pressure on the southern borders in the Mediterranean will remain at a very high level” in 2018.

Some reports have even claimed that people-traffickers are offering “all-inclusive” trips to Spain from various locations in Africa.

Gang of Muslim men grooming underage girls.
mmmmm....sounds familiar. :(

Imprisoned, Tortured French Teen Was Forced to Use Knotted Sheets to Escape Illegal Migrant Boyfriend

by CHRIS TOMLINSON
31 Mar 2018

An 18-year-old French girl escaped the captivity of her illegal migrant boyfriend using a knotted bed sheet to climb down from a ninth-floor apartment balcony after he had held her prisoner and tortured her.

The victim had been brutally tortured by the 24-year-old illegal migrant for three days before she managed to escape and found refuge with her neighbour on the eight floor of the apartment located in the Nantes suburb of Saint-Herblain, Le Parisien reports.

During the three-day period, the migrant had brutally beaten the teen with a rod and cables, had shaved part of her skull, and had dipped her hand into boiling water in what is being described as an act of torture. The girl’s body is reported to have been covered in bruises and her face badly swollen.

She had lived with the migrant for ten months, and the man was soon arrested after the teen escaped. He told police that he vaguely remembered aspects of the story, claiming he had been drunk at the time. Police say that the migrant was already well-known to them.

The 25-year-old is set to be charged with “kidnapping and willful violence” in court.

In the French capital of Paris, many women have reported harassment and threats of sexual violence from migrants in the northern part of the city.

In Germany and Austria, several young women have even been murdered by migrants including German student Maria Ladenburger who was raped and killed by Afghan asylum seeker Hussein Khavari who lied to authorities about being underage. Khavari was recently found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for the brutal murder.

She was allegedly tortured for three fricken days.......does he maintain that he blacked out a three day bender???

Why doesn't that surprise me.....

‘Allah hu Akbar’ Shouting Woman Threatens to Blow Herself up at Cannes Festival

by CHRIS TOMLINSON
13 Apr 2018

A 27-year-old woman from Cannes was arrested this week outside the CanneSeries television festival after she yelled “Allah hu Akbar” and threatened to blow herself up.

The threat of terrorism took place at the Place de Gaulle in Cannes, within the vicinity of the Palais des Festivals where both the internationally renowned Cannes film festival and the TV festival take place, regional newspaper Nice-Matin reports.

More disturbingly, the 27-year-old was accompanied by her two children aged two and four years old while she was making threats to explode. Police were able to quickly arrest the woman who was later taken for a psychiatric evaluation and hospitalised on the advice of a clinical psychiatrist.

The two children were taken into protective custody with social services.

The incident was not the only terrorist threat in France this week as two men were arrested in Saint-Brieuc in Brittany after they both also shouted “Allah hu Akbar” and uttered death threats against an employee of France’s national railway company SNCF at a train station.

Several witnesses to the incident said the two men were shouting not only “Allah hu Akbar” but were also making disparaging remarks about French people and Roman Catholics.

After the men threatened the employee, the station was evacuated until 15 police officers arrived on the scene with anti-bomb equipment as they were concerned the men may have bombs in their suitcases. “We had to react very quickly. We did not know what their suitcases contained,” a local police officer said.

The two men were quickly arrested and taken to a psychiatric hospital. One of the men, a 23-year-old born in France was said to be homeless and known previously to police, the other a 32-year-old was also known to police.

The threats come only weeks after a radical Islamic terrorist entered a supermarket in Trebes, taking several hostages and killing four people including French policeman Lt-Col Arnaud Beltrame who traded himself for a hostage and died the following day of his wounds.

The man, identified as Moroccan migrant Redouane Lakdim, demanded the release of Bataclan terrorist Salah Abdeslam. He was killed by police after they stormed the supermarket.

So what was it that led the authorities to take them to a mental hospital?
The fact that they were threatening to commit violence or that they were shouting Muslim slogans?

Prague Waiter Beaten Unconscious by Culture-Enrichers

Update: Here’s the video that goes with the article below:

Many thanks to Xanthippa for translating this article from Info.cz:

A group of foreigners brutally attacked a waiter in the centre of Prague. Seven of them went after him; he is in a very serious state.

Author: CTK, LUP
April 22, 2018

Criminal investigators in Prague are looking for a group of seven men, apparently foreigners, who attacked a waiter in the garden of a restaurant in Vladislavova Street on Saturday evening. The man ended up in very serious condition at the Intensive Care Unit and underwent head surgery. The culprits could face up to ten years in jail for grievous bodily harm and disturbing the peace.

On their website, the police have published photos of all the assault suspects as well as video of the attack, which took place at a small square near the Quadrio shopping centre. You can find the shots at the end of this article.

The waiter got into a conflict with the suspects after he brought to their attention that they were not permitted to consume alcohol they had brought with them into the garden [on the patio]. The group of seven men then attacked restaurant personnel and knocked one waiter down, where they beat him with fists and repeatedly kicked him. When the victim was lying on the ground unconscious, they fled from there onto tram number 14 and rode away in the direction of the Charles Square, the police spokesman recounted.

Based on their investigation so far, the investigators surmise that the suspects are foreigners, who may be staying in a hotel, hostel or some other type of accommodation in Prague or in the region. “This is why we are primarily asking hotel service staff and all other witnesses if they saw these men, or if they know where they are staying, to call Emergency Line 158,” said the spokesman.

From a Czech commenter at Gates of Vienna:

Over the weekend a group of “Arab-looking” men beat a waiter in a restaurant in Prague because he tried telling them they can’t drink their own alcohol inside the restaurant. He suffered a severe head injury. The police asked the public to help identify them, and today [April 23] the perpetrators were caught at the Václav Havel Airport in Prague thanks to that. Apparently they “were surprised by the act”. Doesn’t surprise me, however, as West of us nobody would dare to criticise, yet alone handcuff them. Apparently they came from Holland and it wasn’t their first time in Prague; also apparently they’re boxers. I always thought anyone performing any kind of martial combat has strict rules of using it, especially against unarmed citizens, but then again it’s really not surprising this scum pees on all the rules.

14th May 2018Indonesia: church bombings leave 13 dead, 43 injured
By Ainur Rohmah

YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia (AA) – At least 13 people were killed and 43 injured in a string of suicide bombings that targeted Sunday Mass congregations at three churches in Indonesia’s second largest city Surabaya.

Meanwhile Monday morning, a family of five, including an eight-year-old child carried out a bomb attack on a police headquarters in Surabaya, killing four people and injuring 10, an Indonesian police official said. They drove up to the gates of the police station on two motorcycles and then detonated the explosives at the security checkpoint. The four adult perpetrators died but the young child is now recovering in hospital.

East Java Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Frans Barung Mangera told Anadolu Agency the Church attack fatalities include an 11-year-old child. The attacks wounded at least 43 people.

“Three bodies have been identified,” Mangera said.

He added the explosions took place on Sunday morning at Santa Maria Tak Bercela Catholic Church (STMB), Pantekosta Pusat Surabaya (GPPS) Church and Gereja Kristen Indonesia (GKI) Diponegoro Church.

Also, police found three unexploded bombs in GPPS and GKI churches and defused them.

The National Police has ordered beefing up of security at the churches.

8 year old "suicide bomber". There is no such thing. An 8 year old can't truly comprehend that action. That is what you call brainwashing.

Nice fucking "religion" you got there, mohammed.
