I predict George Kent will not be called as a witness either.

He says he tried to warn the Obama administration about Hunter Biden AND he said Trump had a legitimate goal to probe Ukrainian corruption.

Quote:

The law does not explicitly prevent anyone other than the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) who received the complaint that triggered the impeachment inquiry from outing the identity of the so-called “whistleblower,” several mainstream media outlets have conceded in recent days.

Even left-wing mainstream media outlets—CNN, the New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), and Reuters — determined that, certainly, no law prohibits President Donald Trump or members of Congress from disclosing the name of the leaker who sparked the impeachment inquiry.

CNN acknowledged on November 8, “It is true no law explicitly prevents anyone, other than the IG [inspector general] and their staff, from revealing the name of a whistleblower.”

Of course if Trump were to even hint that the whistleblower’s name should be disclosed then Schiff will add that the the (empty) list of “high crimes and misdemeanors” that he wants to impeach Trump for.

You were wrong. ;)

How did you like his performance?

"You cannot promote principled anti-corruption action without pissing off corrupt people" -- George Kent

Interesting to see who is pissed off now.

Kent came off as a supercilious,silver-spoon-fed, career State Dept deep stater...which is exactly what he is.

His admission about the obvious conflict of interest over Hunter Biden did some damage to Joe Biden. There was little risk of confusing him with the "mild mannered Clark Kent"

Jim Jordan was highly effective. Yes, there was one good Dem line about the "guy who started this" but even that sounded political and a bit shrill.

Also, the rolled up long sleeve white shirt with no jacket is a political winner with battleground states. Schiff looked like he had 3 gerbils and a 4 inch butt plug shove up his ass
