My favorite beach retreat:

Discovered it, pretty much by accident while driving around down there with my ex-wife about 24 years ago.

Mexico Beach...that looks pretty cool.
Also in the general area of the "Emerald Coast".

While I have spent quite a bit of time up in that area, I have not been to/never previously heard of Mexico Beach.
Most of my time in that area has been spent WEST of Panama City.

I should check it out sometime.

I found a bunch of cool places. From what I can tell, Gump is right, the Forgotten Coast is the best fishing. Not for Marlin or Swordfish, but perfectly edible and good fighting fish..plus they have scallops and crab harvesting. I am going to rent a place and try to drag my wife down there.

Now, if global warming means the Mexican fish from Cabo San Lucas move north, then the "Project" is terminated. If you can hook-up with a Yellowtail or Dorado then there is no need to move across the country. One time, during the last El Nino (which means the "Baby Jesus" in Espanol) there were thousands or perhaps hundreds of thousands of Yellowtail and Barracuda 1000 yds of Dana Point Harbor...thank you , Baby Jesus.

Global warming is happening.....but is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Mt Everest is a good place to avoid sea level rising if u don't mind a few stiffs around.

Before you even visit Florida you should familiarize yourself with the most relevant map... Avoid the Fort Meyers coast and the Stuart/Jupiter area.

If water is cutoff from the FL Everglades - why is the Everglades still swamp land? This woman is filmed while driving down Alligator Alley, surrounded by swamp. If she wasn't driving on elevated road she'd be up to her ears in Alligators.

I only live here. I'm confused.

Glazed over the part where okeechobee ran her banks and killed 2,000 ppl. In 1937 before Global Warming Cooling Climate Change was even invented for crying out loud.
