Sneero is a narcissist. Critical self-examination is beyond the reach of his limited cognitive abilities.

My personal observation, concerning Finland, is that when market forces was given free reign since 1986 (in Finland), it has been hot rails to hell. The same happened earlier in the US and elsewhere. And the final collapse happened with the collapse of the USSR. The only reason why capitalists needed social peace was the fear of communism.

But then market economy and capitalism are not the same thing.

Globally the only place where the market economy is doing well and serving the people can be found in countries in NW Europe.

In the US, some people are talking about democratic socialism, but I think it is ideally more like democratic market economy, legislation to snub excesses raw capitalism.

Markets are a good servant, but a bad master.

The only real explanation is that he is a paid troll. I've thought such for a long time. So I just don't bother with him.

So doggie pays nero to troll ??? That theory sounds pretty implausible unless the real doggie went away and was replaced by a robot :D

But the truth is that you so called "conservatives", now alt-right trumpists always align to support their man in Casa Blanca. It this normal us-against-them thing. So we can see the synchronized goose step march all the time, in power or in opposition. The other side is the enemy.

But I come from a different political culture; a multi party system with proportional election system. So all the governments are coalition governments. And there are no fixed left-right blocks like in Sweden, but all possibilities are open. That creates an atmosphere where there are no permanent political enemies, especially now when commies are extinct. I is quite normal to agree on somethings, disagree on something else without being enemies.

But I understand that this board is a reflection of the political reality in the US, and I don't fit in that.

But I will not leave, I will not walk away.

There isn't "raw capitalism" in the US. That is the most ignorant thing I ever heard.

When Boeing wanted to expand a plant in the Carolinas somewhere, Obama appointed nimrods on some labor commission told them they couldn't, even though they were ALSO expanding in Washington state. There are thousands of examples or crap like that.

Besides we can always count on the EU to make sure US tech firms don't make too much money.

Did I say anything about "raw capitalism" in the US. I know that you have had antitrust laws more than century. ;)

We don't really have a "two-party" system either. You had Ross Perot taking a BIG chunk of votes and sending Bill Clinton to the WH. You have Libertarians "costing" Republicans elections and Greens "costing" Dems elections.

Then you had the Trump political earthquake. He essentially formed a new party right out from under the noses of the establishment Republicans. He combined low taxes, low regulation with immigration reform and rejection of one-sided "free trade" and made himself a new party.

By the way, calling everyone here "alt right" is childish bullshit.

Well I would love to hear all your examples about how white supremacists are unleashed but I listened to an interview with Richard Spencer this morning and he has way more in common with the left than the right. He's an atheist, believes right comes from the government, etc.

Spencer, and his alt-right following, are pretty deep into socialist ideals.

I suppose it's fitting to link them with National Socialism.

Just more evidence that big gov't socialists & communists are cancer. The only difference between the various flavors being the excuses they give for their ascribed group to take power and begin the starving & killing.
