Went with a guy and his wife who goes pretty much every year. They buy a block of tickets and then invite to join. This group was the church group and pretty fun. Everything went according to the script.

Was seated in turn 4 at the entrance to the pits. Most of the crashes were there. Very hot, record breaking heat they said.

Brought a radio to listen to the crews. Nice. Followed what's her name as she crashed and ended her career.

Beer and food reasonably priced. Snake pit denizens were what you would expect. I will go again.

Oh...the lady in front who threw us jello shots and then flashed her tits. I would have paid extra to not see that.

Never been to Indy but Daytona a few times. Being there IRL seeing the cars and feeling their engines rumble ur guts while they scream past is indeed a good time. Interesting. What surprised me was when the cars are idling they sound like sputtering pieces of crap. Those engines don't idle well, not built for it. When up to speed they roar.

Yes. The engines are built to run flat out. They barely survive idle.

Must be some kind of a gathering of the morons in town this weekend. Muscle cars all over. Most of im are cool and drive non aggressively following road rules. There's always excepts to prove the rule and give all of im a bad name As I get older a car screaming past in traffic startles me, and also the cars are very LOUD
