They completely forgot the hatred and racism towards Germans.

He was of the mind that Germans should be nuked off the face of the Earth and later that the survivors of WW II should be stripped of any technology and industry and be reduced to sauerkraut farmers monitored closely by the winning powers to stay that way.

In hindsight he was right about the Germans, it seems. "OK I hope you learned your lesson" and suddenly they are the rulers of Europe. What?

Turns out Einstein was a misogynist too...

Quote:
To this day, 63 years after his death, Albert Einstein remains one of the world's most important scientists.

But his personal life wasn't quite so successful, and his marriage to Mileva Maric was a difficult one.

Einstein began cheating on his wife, a successful mathematician herself, soon after they said their vows and the couple separated after 11 years.

But he wanted to stay together for the sake of their two children, but only if Mileva agreed to a long list of shocking demands and rules.

Unbelievably she accepted the list, which you can read in full below, and it basically turned her into his assistant rather than wife.

The list was published in biography author Walter Isaacson's book Einstein: His Life and Universe , reports the Mail Online .

It reads:
A. You will make sure:

1. that my clothes and laundry are kept in good order
2. that I will receive my three meals regularly in my room
3. that my bedroom and study are kept neat, and especially that my desk is left for my use only
B. You will renounce all personal relations with me insofar as they are not completely necessary for social reasons. Specifically, You will forego:

1. my sitting at home with you
2. my going out or travelling with you

C. You will obey the following points in your relations with me:

1. you will not expect any intimacy from me, nor will you reproach me in any way
2. you will stop talking to me if I request it
3. you will leave my bedroom or study immediately without protest if I request it
D. You will undertake not to belittle me in front of our children, either through words or behavior.

Wow.

Unsurprisingly it didn't last long and Mileva divorced him in 1919.

We will have to give up the theory of relativity now.

I saw that a few years ago.

Based.

Wasn't she also his cousin? Or did he leave her company to go diddle his cousin? I can't recall the specifics, but there was cousin fucking going on.
