Some 300 U.S. Marines have been on six-month deployments at Værnes outside Trondheim since 2017. On Tuesday, the Norwegian Government announced both a up to five years prolongation of the Værnes six-months-at-a-time rotational deployment, but also expanding the training activities to the north.

«The defense of Norway depends on contributions from our allies in NATO, like it is for most other NATO-countries,» says Defense Minister Frank Bakke-Jensen in a statement posted by the Ministry. He says training and exercising together in peace-time is necessary if this support should be effective in times of crises or war.

It was said that Eskimos shared their women with explorers to get new blood into the family. Is this Norway's strategy?

No, abrad - it's related to the development of Putin's Russia...

...that, or it's one more step in diverting attention from the secret Islamic conquest of Europe. [twilight zone music intro/]

There are about 300 Marines in Norway now. They want to up the number to 700. The Russians are horrified, but really how much of a threat would 700 Marines in Norway be to Putin's security...

Also, Trump scored some kind of deal with Rocket-Man in Singapore. That deal might be worth nothing other than good PR at home for both Trump and Rocket-M.

Thing is, Obama got the peace prize for not being George Bush - what is Oslo going to do about Trump/Rocket now.
