The tainted alcohol thing is WORSE than the headless torsos.

In fairness, I did have my rental car stolen in Maui...but at least nobody tried to kill me.

So who is this British journalist and newspaper shilling for then?

The article refers to a killing that occurred “in the sand” (that’s presumably on the beach...you know, where tourists would hang out); it refers to 4 men coming through the hotel and attacking someone(that presumably a hotel where tourists stay at); and a taxi driver being “shot outside” (that would presumably be outside the hotel or whatever tourist spot the article writer was at. And taxi drivers give rides to who exactly......tourists).

So people are being killed on the beach, where tourists are; people are being attacked either in or by people coming through the hotel, where tourists are; and taxi drivers are being shot outside tourists venues, taxis who give rides to tourists....and then you think that tourists shouldn’t be concerned about their safety if they were to travel to Cancun?

So when are you booking a trip for you and your family to Cancun?

I thought Gump already lived in Mexico. Or stayed there frequently with relatives.

Yes don't let any real world experience ruin it for you though... When I'm not a paid shill for the Gun Grabbers, STASI Statists, or the Russians, I also get a nice check from Mexico tourism....

I found the official Chijohn Cartoon:

Do you also live in Acupulco?

If that city is experiencing an average of 10 homicides a day, I doubt anyone wants to vacation there. Whether the bodies are tourists or not.

Acapulco is different... more like Chicago.... There hasn't been a single tourist killed in Cancun... out of 30 million every year........ Pardon me for pointing out the obvious....

I've heard the same thing from friends living there.

Although they also specify that they don't venture far from that safe zone for fear of crime and corruption.

A tourist ferry boat at Playa del Carmen really DID explode.

It wasn't an "electrical problem" either as claimed by the Mexican government. The funny thing to me is the State Dept sends people to Lybia and Syria and Afghanistan...but Playa del Carmen is too dangerous.

With that number of people coming in and out of there every year, it probably ranks statistically as one of the safest places on the planet....
