Posted in the wrong thread... but I'll do it again here... I thought you and I already firmly established that military weapons are being sold? Weapons that are capable of killing hundreds in a short period of time... Weapons that are now being sold at Academy Sports to suicidal nutballs that want to kill children with it ?

Only a matter of time now till some nut succeeds brilliantly with one... And when he does you should feel guilty for not doing something to try and stop it..

If all weapons are "military stye" .. then sure they are being bought and sold and scrapped and built ... and every which a way ...

I'm going with all weapons are "military stye" ..

(otherwise someone has to divide all weapons into 2 groups ... the "military stye" and the "not military stye" ... and I seriously doubt that is possible)

Like we already established, the easiest way is to make a simple magazine limit. That will at least impede somebody from killing hundreds. And have no real effect on anybody except somebody intent on killing humans.

I want a HIGHER capacity magazine for my home defense weapon, not a smaller one.

Hey Gump, can you ask legislators to make sure that they are not being stupid when they pass these "commonsense reforms"?

We already know that some legislators (in the case of New York State, the majority) are idiots.
In their case they passed INTO LAW the requirement that no firearm could have a magazine with a capacity of more than 7 bullets.
http://www.democratandchronicle.com/sto ... e/4345739/

None of these legislators knew that there is no such thing as a "7 bullet" magazine.
They then said that anyone with a 10 bullet magazine was prohibited from loading more than 7 bullets into the mag.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NY_SAFE_Act

And to add insult to injury, they neglected to put an exception into the law for police officers, meaning any police officer that either had a magazine with a bullet capacity greater than 7 OR loaded more than 7 bullets into a 10 bullet magazine were in violation of the law.

And who suffered from this legislative stupidity?
For starters, the 38 New Yorkers who were arrested for violating this asinine law:

Certainly, but mass murder is good for the industry, more ammo used.

Maybe if gun people were smart enough to be part of the solution, it wouldn't be stupid.... but since you're going to happily go down with the ship over a few simple changes that could have been done, I think you'll deserve whatever they serve up...

Here is one of those "gun people" who was part of the solution:
