FFS, how could they not have description or NOT have made an arrest if the perpetrators were still on scene when the police arrived?????
No shit.

Sounds like the police were afraid to do anything, at best, and outright blew it off at worst.

Anyone wanna take bets on whether some of the punks had Antifa ties?

Woman pleads guilty to assault charges, accused of throwing drink at Florida congressman

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) – A woman has pleaded guilty to throwing a sports drink at a Florida congressman who frequently appears on television supporting President Donald Trump.

Federal court records show that 35-year-old Amanda Kondrat’yev pleaded guilty to assault Thursday in Pensacola.

Authorities say Kondrat’yev was part of a group protesting in June outside a town hall meeting attended by U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz. The second-term Republican was leaving a coffee house when a cup struck him in the back. Several witnesses identified Kondrat’yev as the assailant, and the throw was caught on video.

Kondrat’yev faces up to a year in prison at her Oct. 17 sentencing.

Shocking isn't it? That after ~3 years of dehumanization, libel and slander against The President and anyone who fails to properly defame him and show their allegiance to the NTT, average citizens feel emboldened to go forth into the streets, assaulting people for their their expressions of free speech, their attire, or their skin color . . . We've come so far . . . I'm sure Mr. Obama must be very proud of how much more united we are as a people.

Woman tosses Molotov cocktail into Fla. Citizenship office

By COLLEEN LONG and MICHAEL BALSAMO
yesterday

WASHINGTON (AP) — A woman tossed a lit Molotov cocktail into the lobby of a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Oakland Park, Florida. No one was reported injured, according to a report of the incident sent to Trump administration officials and viewed by The Associated Press.

The woman walked into the office Friday afternoon and hurled a bottle filled with gasoline and a lit fuse. The fuse disconnected from the bottle and did not ignite, according to the report. Law enforcement officials believe the woman intended to cause harm but the incident wasn’t related to other ones where Homeland Security agencies were targeted.

Ken Cuccinelli, acting director of Citizenship and Immigration Services, which handles legal immigration, said in a tweet that the incident was “another example of the use of violence in place of debate by those who oppose the proper application of our immigration laws.”

Security officers handcuffed the woman who threw the device and she was taken into custody by Federal Protective Service officers who arrested her. Court documents said the incident was also captured on surveillance video.

The woman, Cellicia Hunt, was charged with maliciously attempting to damage or destroy a government building by fire, according to court records. The 35-year-old is expected to appear in federal court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Tuesday.

She was being held without bail in a local jail Saturday and it was not immediately clear whether she had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
No one was injured, though one person reported feeling ill from the smell of gasoline, and the offices were closed.

The incident comes amid federal investigators’ growing concerns about attacks on immigration agencies during a time of heightened emotion and scrutiny as Trump tries to move ahead with major changes on his signature issue and energize his base of supporters by delivering on campaign promises.

Cuccinelli, who backs Trump’s hard-line immigration policies, has presided over recent policy changes that have drawn criticism from immigrant advocates.

One major change could deny green cards to many migrants who use Medicaid, food stamps, housing vouchers or other forms of public assistance. Cuccinelli also defended changes to a long-standing agreement that governs how children cared for in government custody and how long they can be detained.

About two weeks ago in San Antonio, at least one vehicle pulled up to a building that houses offices for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and a gunman fired shots through a window, FBI officials said. No one was injured. Another building used by ICE was also fired on.

This is at least the 4th or 5th incident this year where someone has either tossed a Molotov Cocktail or shot at an ICE facility this year.

What happened to the idea of “peaceful” protest?
It’s only a matter of time until there are injuries/deaths as a result of these attacks.

Woman arrested for battery for throwing drink at Rep. Matt Gaetz.

From Staff Reports Published 6:11 p.m. CT June 1, 2019 | Updated 6:21 p.m. CT June 1, 2019

A Pensacola woman who ran for Rep. Matt Gaetz’s seat was arrested Saturday and charged with battery after she threw a drink at the congressman during his “Won’t Back Down” town hall.

Gaetz was leaving Brew Ha Ha restaurant when Amanda Kondrat'yev allegedly threw a drink at him.

Kondrat'yev, 35, was one of several candidates running against Gaetz for Jeff Miller’s seat in 2016 before she withdrew from the race.

Kondrat'yev is also one of four plaintiff in a lawsuit against the city of Pensacola to force the city to remove the Bayview Park cross. The American Humanist Association’s Appignani Humanist Legal Center and the Freedom From Religion Foundation filed the suit on behalf of Kondra’yev and three other Pensacola residents. One of the complainants, David Suhor, has long pushed for local governments to end the practice of opening meetings with prayer and also has called for the cross to come down.

During the campaign, Gaetz challenged Kondrat’yev to a debate about the cross, which she accepted. The debate never happened.

Kondrat’yev was released on a $1,000 bond.

Another update to the above article:
Amanda Kondrat’yev was sentenced to 15 days in federal custody on Monday for throwing a drink at Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL).
and
Kondrat’yev could have faced up to a year of incarceration. She will instead begin her 15-day stint on December 2 and be heading home just in time for the holidays.

Further evidence that TDS is not isolated and uncommon:
14-year-old boy was hospitalized last month after being savagely beaten by a group of older black teens on a school bus in Hamilton County, Florida, and now shocking video of the brutal attack has been released online. The boy’s mother said on Twitter that her son Tyler was attacked because he wore a Trump 2020 hat to school. She is calling the vicious interracial assault a hate crime.

The family released the video online after their attorney Foye B. Walker gave them the okay. It’s tough to watch.

Teen calls cops on teacher who allegedly pulled 'Women for Trump' pin off shirt

A Michigan high school student called the police, accusing a teacher of assaulting her when he removed a "Women for Trump" pin from her shirt, WILX reports.

Sadie Earegood, a 16-year-old junior at Mason High School, told the station that Paul Kato, a media technology teacher originally from Nigeria, assaulted her last Thursday, when he ripped the pin from her shirt.

"I was just really shocked that a teacher would especially do that," she said. "He's talking about the 'Women for Trump' pin and I said, 'That's fine. You don't have to like it. We can have our opinions.'"

Earegood said Kato went for her pin before she pushed his hands away. He then allegedly grabbed her shoulder and pulled the pin off her shirt as she backed away from him. The student said that the teacher then proceeded to put the pin upside down on his shirt and told her that it belonged that way.

According to WILX, there is no rule in the school's dress code that prevents students from wearing a political pin.

"Students may distribute or display, at appropriate times, non-sponsored, non-commercial written material and petitions; buttons, badges, or other insignia; clothing, insignia, and banners; and audio and video materials,
the code states.

Following the incident, the teenager and her family filed a police report.

“I made a criminal assault and larceny report against the teacher," Sadie's mother, Capi Earegood, told the station. "He had no right to put his hands on my child over a pin or anything else. The First Amendment gives everyone the right to express their freedom of speech. No one should get that upset about someone wearing a political pin."

The Mason police department confirmed that it is looking into an alleged assault that occurred on Dec. 5. The Mason School District, on the other hand, did not corroborate the teenager's allegations.

"Once we have a complete understanding of the situation, we will take appropriate action," Mason Superintendent Ronald Drzewicki told WILX.

I hope that Mr.Zachary Greenberg has the book thrown at him.

An update to this.

It has been 10 months since this attack, but nothing has happened:

Nearly one year after a violent attack at the University of California-Berkeley, Zachary Greenberg has not faced trial on multiple felony counts after being charged with assaulting conservative activist Hayden Williams.

Zachary Greenberg — who has been out on bail for nearly one year — faces multiple felony counts, as well as time behind bars in state prison, if convicted. But the trial has not actually begun, according to court documents.

Suspect arrested, charged after reportedly driving van into Republican tent in Walmart parking lot

Gregory William Loel Timm, 27, was arrested Saturday after reportedly driving a van into a Republican tent in a Sandalwood area Walmart parking lot.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — A man was arrested Saturday after investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said he drove a van into a tent belonging to the Republican Party of Duval County.

Gregory William Loel Timm, 27, faces multiple charges, including two counts of aggravated assault on a person 65 years of age or older, one count of criminal mischief and driving with a suspended license.

On Saturday afternoon, police responded to the Walmart at 11900 Atlantic Blvd. in Kernan Village after witnesses called 911.

Witnesses told JSO that a man in his 20s driving an older brown Chevy van pulled up to the tent before driving through, running over their tables and chairs. Volunteers for the Republican Party were registering people to vote.

After running over chairs and tables, witnesses told police that Timm got out of the van, took a video recording, made obscene gestures and left. No volunteers were hurt, according to JSO.

"I thought he was going to slow down, but he didn't and he gunned his engine and headed straight," a volunteer with the Republican Party of Duval County who said she was narrowly missed by the car said.

JSO later received a tip that the van was at a home on 2011 Brighton Bay Trail. JSO approached the suspect at the home and he was arrested.

While Timm is a Jacksonville resident, First Coast News confirmed he is not registered to vote in Florida.

The Duval County Democratic Party released a statement on Timm's arrest, saying, “We are thankful the perpetrator of this cowardly attack has been apprehended by JSO and continue to call for civility during this election cycle.”

JSO said intelligence detectives were called to the scene, though it is unsure if the crash was politically motivated.

"We’re obviously going to follow that up and we take that very seriously," said JSO Lieutenant Larry Gayle. "Anybody who interrupts a political process in this country needs to be taken very seriously."

In his first court appearance Sunday, a Jacksonville judge set Timm's bond at over $500,000 on multiple counts.
