Eliminate every publically funded department that ends with the word "Studies."

And figure out a way to "incentivize" practical employment skills transfer in the "ologies" (and related "Arts & Sciences" departments): Your funding is in part dependent on how many of your graduates get jobs that exceed X-thresholds of quality within Z-period of time after graduation . . .

Fail to achieve Y-level of success at your graduates achieving employment success, and your funding will diminish by Q-depreciation rate per year until you have only enough funding for R-number of faculty. When you are at R-number of faculty for P-number of years, your department will be absorbed into a related department within the institution . . .

This would put the vast majority of anthropology, sociology, women studies, gender studies, even history, psychology, and biology on the endangered species list. It would also bring an end to the PC purging of actual "doers" in these fields and re-align the dominant cliques in these fields with practical goals shared by the nations and societies which house them.

Evergreen State College, on the other hand, is facing the opposite. Evergreen has been forced to cut nearly $6 million from its budget while raising fees because of lower-than-expected tuition revenue. The Olympian reports that Evergreen has suffered massive losses in enrollment numbers.

Between fall 2017 and fall 2018, Evergreen’s enrollment dropped by 18.5 percent — going from 3,800 to 3,100. Winter 2018 enrollment is estimated to be down 38 percent. Part of the problem is the loss of out-of-state students, down by 23 percent from the previous year. The school can charge more tuition for those students. This low point is the culmination of a downward trend that began in 2009 when the school hit a high of 4,596 students.
