I can't recall where we discussed US news sources ... but

AOM suggested Drudge

And Mdiehl suggested

Boston Herald
WSJ

==
WSJ seems to cost money. I think I would like it ... but hunting for a "free" source right now.

Drudge seems hard to scan to find articles. Might just take getting used to.
Need to look at BH again.

Fox is a pain due to all the "auto play" videos ... I think that is too much to manage.

==
For other ganglands I use:

IRNA for Iran
Arutz 7 - Israel
@idfspokesperson - Israel
France24 - France
The Local - Germany
Xinhua - PRC
RT News - Russia
BBC - Brits
and even
BBC - TGLFKAO (as nothing better seems to exist - for free - in OOOSAH itself)

And others also but those are the few I've been looking at in the past week ...

I also refer to DW (Deutsche Welle) for news related to Germany.
They have an English language website that is free to access.

I just turn on RT for all my domestic and world news. :lol:

CBS seems to have the least pop-up crap on line

I listen to National People's Radio in the AM...it's hard to take sometimes.

I've generally looked at CNN, WAPO and NYT for TGLFKAO ... but in the past year or so ... those have gotten harder and harder to swallow ... hence looking around for something more "factual" ... guess I will just accept there is none-such ... no (free) US news source that is more factual ... than click-bait oriented.

What ever happened to "Radio Free America" !!! :D

We need "Radio Free Flyover Country" now !!! :D :D :D

I've had the Boston Herald up for a couple of days ... and it does seem to be a good match for what I'm looking for - beats the others I've looked at for US based news service ...

Thanks!!!

I had a WSJ subscription for several years. They are as balanced as any American media outlet I've read.

The Economist is also fairly balanced. Supposedly Le Monde isn't too bad, but my French isn't really good enough to judge.

Is that seriously WaPO and NOT the Onion?

What did I say, about theme driving themselves into extinction?

The WaPo is wall to wall anti-Trump...both the "real news" and the opinion pieces. You would think they would be embarrassed.
