This is all much ado about nothing.

Of course the Russians want to influence the outcome of everything America decides to do.

Elections. Sure. By tipping off American voters about how the DNC sausage gets made. It's not like anyone is saying the Russians leaked information that was not accurate. The DNC made their bed by saying and writing the things that they said and wrote. If they had any really solid moral or ethical center, they would not say or write (or do) those things.

Where are the DNC people complaining about Russia buying US policy (purchasing Canadian stakes in American mining interests, thanks to Sec'y Clinton's help, by donating massive amounts of treasure to the "Clinton Foundation.") And they're not the only ones buying favors. Does anyone really think that Chelsea Clinton, who seems like a basically decent person, had so much core expertise and life experience that she was worth $600K per year immediately after being graduated from college? That she had so much profound insight that the six-digit speaker's fees she commanded were all about her skill set rather than awarding her parents in the usual pay for play scheme in which most Federal appointed officials engage?

Does anyone think that Israel does not attempt to influence US policy or US elections? Or Saudi Arabia? Or Japan, or South Korea, or France, Italy, Greece, Spain, Germany, Britain? Does anyone really believe that when some globalist-ideologue from some macroeconomy think tank spouts off about the need to contain Russia or China, that they're NOT representing primarily the interests of foreign powers and something like 5% of the US population.

EVERYONE tries to "influence" US elections. EVERYONE tries to buy US policy outcomes. The DNC got CAUGHT. They don't like getting caught, so now the usual tricks suddenly piss them off?

Meh. Crocodile tears.

Ecuador presidential hopeful pledges to evict Julian Assange from London embassy

By Emma Rosen
9 FEBRUARY 2017 • 12:10PM

After more than four years sheltering sheltering inside Ecuador's embassy in London, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange could have limited time left.

Ecuadorian presidential candidate, Guillermo Lasso, of the right wing Creo-Suma alliance has said in an interview with The Guardian that if he won the election, he would "cordially ask Señor Assange to leave within 30 days of assuming a mandate.”

He added that “the Ecuadorian people have been paying a cost that we should not have to bear.”

Guillaume Long, Ecuador's foreign minister, appeared to be in agreement, stating that “our staff have been through a lot. There is a human cost.”

He went on to compare the situation at the embassy to “something out of a John le Carré novel”.

However, it appears unlikely that Lasso will have the opportunity to fulfill his pledge, as he is trailing seven points behind Lenín Moreno, the ruling Country Alliance party's candidate.

The first round of voting is due to take place on February 19, and candidates require at least 40 per cent of the vote, with a 10 per cent margin to win at the first round.

Julian Assange first entered the Ecuadorian embassy in June 2012 when he sought and was granted asylum as he faced extradition to Sweden to be questioned over allegations of rape - which he denies.

He was on bail at the time, having been held and then freed by police, meaning he breached his bail conditions and cannot now leave without being arrested.

Mr Assange has maintained that if he travels to Sweden to defend himself, he will risk being extradited to the US to face trial over the Iraq war leaks.

I guess pussy grabbing is okay, as long as you don't talk about it on tape.

Ecuador grants nationality to WikiLeaks founder

By GONZALO SOLANO

QUITO, Ecuador (AP) — Ecuador has granted citizenship to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange after more than five years of living in asylum at the nation’s embassy in London, officials announced Thursday.

Foreign Minister Maria Fernanda Espinosa said officials accepted Assange’s request for naturalization in December, and they continue to look for a long-term resolution to a situation that has vexed officials since 2012.

“What naturalization does is provide the asylum seeker another layer of protection,” Espinosa said.

Continued at above link.

To my understanding, a country's embassy is considered part of its "sovereign" territory.

Assange has been living in the Ecuadorian embassy for like 5 years (that embassy being considered part of Ecuador).
So I suppose you could say that Assange has "lived" long enough in Ecuador to meet any residency requirement that is part of its citizenship process.

I still don't see how he can leave the building without the possibility of being arrested for any possible outstanding warrants.
The difference would be that any extradition would then involve the Ecuadorian government since he is a citizen.
The only way that he could get out unscathed would be if Ecuador granted him diplomatic immunity.

Oh, he's gonna be stuck there for awhile. Unless he finds some secret way to sneak out of the country and into Ecuador.

When spider demonqueen Hildabeast thinks a drone strike on you is a preferred option, you better be watching your back. There is obviously a lot more than drones watching you.

Was leery at first, but his organization has shone a light on many globalista cockroaches and their underhanded methods. Will be expecting more.

Also: Snowden should be pardoned if he never gave up individual names or info that could've placed agents in danger. From what I've seen, he protected US citizens' constitutional rights and exposed criminality within the govt.
