Either her make-up artists have stopped giving a shit or she has been hitting the bottle hard. There are rumours floating around that she spent election night crying hysterically, getting intoxicated and even having to be restrained after physically lashing out at Bill/Podesta. Nothing that can be verified but it would explain why she couldn't come out and face her supporters that night.

It must be hard for her. She spent years of her life preparing to become America's first female President, only to be defeated by a guy who picked up politics as a hobby last year.

Not to mention getting robbed of her throne the first time by a guy who was a community organizer 3 years beforehand.

I sort of feel sorry for her....oh..wait.....yes.....I'm over it.

If she wanted to be President that badly maybe she should have, you know, not been a corrupt piece of shit that no one wanted to vote for?

Nah, who am I kidding? It's all the fault of the college kids for being lazy fucks who won't go vote / the Bernie Bros for not transferring their loyalty to Hillary when she nobly took the mantle as the Dem candidate after her honest and hard-fought win in the primary / All those rednecks in the Midwest who voted for Obama twice and then decided to show their true racist colors and not vote for Hillary / The FBI for daring to imply that she may have broken the law when CLEARLY she has never broken any laws ever (if she had, she would have been jailed, right?) / the fucking Russians who hacked her emails and mind-controlled Trump and the American people to vote for him so they could...do...something nefarious. Or something.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Opposite Day: Debbie Downer blames Bernie Sanders for her downfall
POSTED AT 10:01 AM ON NOVEMBER 19, 2016 BY JAZZ SHAW

The finger pointing and recrimination continues inside the Democratic Party as the reality of a looming Donald Trump presidency sinks in. And not all of it has to do with what went so spectacularly wrong with Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. The entire Democratic primary claimed a lot of victims, including the loss by Bernie Sanders and the ouster of former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Usually you hear Sanders supporters blaming Debbie for rigging the game against him, but in an interview with Vice News, she attempts to turn the tables, claiming that Bernie used her as a scapegoat. (Real Clear Politics)

DEBBIE WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: I will be frank with you. If I was trying to rig the outcome of the primary, trust me, I could have — there are so many things that we, not I, we could have done to enhance the campaign of one candidate over another…

It was mind-boggling to me that he was complaining about the number of debates. Because, things were going just fine [for him]. I think the Sanders campaign began to aggressively find a scapegoat to turn the attention away from mistakes that they made. And they did so successfully. But that’s okay.

Perhaps I’m a bit fuzzy on the definition of “scapegoat” but we don’t generally associate it with accusing someone of something they actually did. The details which emerged from that torrid affair went well beyond the fact that DWS scheduled the Democrats’ debates to be few in number and in time slots where the Home Shopping Network would give them a run for their money in the ratings. They were playing games with the campaign donations as well. Liberal outlet Daily KOS reported back in April that large dollar donations were effectively being laundered and flushed back to the DNC, primarily to Clinton’s benefit. And let’s not even get started on the Donna Brazile cheating scandal. If Debbie didn’t know about that (a dubious proposition at best) then the most we could say is that she was criminally incompetent rather than simply complicit.

But let’s take DWS at her own word. Clinton was always doing better with the party regulars while Sanders was bringing a surge of independent voters into the fold. Back during the heat of the primary, Debbie went on the record saying that if she’d had her way, none of those pesky independents would be voting at all. (The Hill)

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said if it was her decision, she would scrap open primaries and only allow voters registered as Democrats to participate in primaries.

“I believe that the party’s nominee should be chosen — this is Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s opinion — that the party’s nominee should be chosen by members of the party,” the Florida lawmaker said during an interview with “MSNBC Live” on Monday, according to The Washington Examiner.

So who precisely is the “scapegoat” in this situation? Bernie Sanders accused the chairwoman and the rest of the DNC leadership of having their fingers on the scale in Hillary’s favor. Now that she’s been shown the door, Debbie is trying to pin the blame on Bernie. The Wikileaks revelations made it all very clear, and DWS probably shouldn’t be bragging about how she could have rigged the primary “if she’d wanted to.” That page is already written in the history books and Sanders has a very legitimate gripe. But in the end, he wound up with a very senior spot in the Senate leadership and she’s out in the cold. Perhaps there was a small sliver of justice for Bernie after all.

She was caught red-handed. The Bernie supporters had every reason to hate her guts. Even her back up, lying Donna was a cheating skank.

If this causes the Dem party to move strongly to the Left they will be lucky to hold the City Council in Berkely and SF and Madison Wis

Maybe at that point Berkely, SF and Madison will decide that they need to secede from the Union.

Who would have imagined Alexander Hamilton was a Clinton supporter. Completely unprofessional for the cast to get involved. Completely uncivil for patrons to boo. It used to be a Broadway show was a place for refinement. The article gets it wrong as well. Pence is not "opposed to gay rights" he merely spoke up for another group whose rights were being undermined.

Quote:
The US vice-president elect, Mike Pence, was booed by a theater audience when he attended the hit hip-hop musical Hamilton in New York on Friday night – and then had a message about protecting diversity delivered to him from the stage after the curtain call.

On Saturday, President-elect Donald Trump accused theatre-goers of having “harassed” Pence, writing on Twitter: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!”
He also demanded an apology: “The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!”
On Friday night, as Pence entered the auditorium for the Broadway show at the Richard Rogers Theater, video taken by onlookers and posted to social media picked up some audience members cheering him, then more people booing him.
Pence walked down the aisle towards his seat and waved briefly as people in the theater clearly began to realize who he was. Then the boos began.

The show was occasionally disrupted by more loud booing at Pence. Patrons did not lose sight of the irony of a strong conservative, with a record of opposition against gay rights, attending a hip-hop musical with a pointedly diverse cast was not lost on , as noted in an early report by Variety magazine.
At first it was thought Pence had left the show at the interval, but it later turned out that he had returned to his seat, possibly after the lights went down, at the beginning of the second act in an attempt to minimize disruption.
Pence ended up watching the whole show but as he was about to leave the theater at the end of the curtain call a member of the cast called him back.
Brandon Dixon, who plays vice-president Aaron Burr, stepped forward and took out a piece of paper.
He thanked the audience for seeing the show, then said: “Vice-president Mike Pence, I see you walking out, but I hope you will hear us, just a few moments.”
As some quiet boos emanated from the audience as it began to disperse, Dixon hushed the audience and delivered a message.
“There is nothing to boo here, ladies and gentlemen, we are sharing a story of love,” he said.

He continued: “Mike Pence, we welcome you here. We are the diverse Americans who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents.”
Many of the remaining audience began to cheer softly as Dixon, who is African American, pointed towards Pence.
“Or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights … we hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us,” he continued, to rising cheers.
“We thank you for sharing this wonderful American story, told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and orientations,” he concluded.
It was not clear whether Pence heard the whole address or made any response. On Saturday morning, Dixon replied to Trump’s call for an apology: “conversation is not harassment, sir,” he wrote on Twitter. “And I appreciate [Mike Pence] for stopping to listen.”
The show was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda, whom it turned into a superstar. He had a long run as the lead playing US founding father Alexander Hamilton.
Miranda relinquished the part earlier this year to the actor Javier Munoz, his understudy.
Munoz is openly gay and HIV-positive. He has made a point of speaking out about living with HIV since 2002 and how he hopes to diminish the stigma around HIV and Aids.
