ChiJohn thinks I should. I'd call it the "Fuck the king!" party. The motto would be "Leave me the fuck alone!" I'd get much of the campaign platform from Ron Swanson's statements about government in "Parks and Recreation."

It might be briefly satisfying to see Washington revert to swampland but the economic misery of a societal collapse would extend to every zombie apocolypse compound. Camping is fun but eventually it is nice to take a long hot shower and have some porterhouse with a nice cab.

A soft landing with a return to sanity would be nice.

I'm OK with a hard landing. I have 3 places to go, & allies to come with me. I know how to boil water, build a shower, cut wood, build a log cabin, use a wood-burning stove, etc. If the apocalypse can wait until I retire, I'll probably be able to listen to the shortwave broadcasts while sitting in an easy chair in front of a fireplace sipping a decent scotch.

Good porter ... all you need is barley. I'll have room enough to grow it.

And if all that doesn't happen, I'll still have a great place far from the nasty masses where I can sit in an easy chair and sip decent scotch. ;)

A while back there was a movement to have all the Libertarians move to a small New England state and take over government. That is the only way a small party has a chance in this winner take all system.

It's still going. Called the Free State movement. The target state is NH.

It's the CCCP (Central Committee for the Coordination of Propaganda) in Brussels

Yea I thought this thread is more about the inner workings of EU. By the way 'commissioner' equals 'commissar' in many European languages.

It appears that Soviets didn't need to conquer Europe and that in absence of USSR Europeans build their own system of totalitarian control over the plebs, complete with news censorship and reporting delays and an all encompassing party line.

Just, they fixed some molding errors of USSR such that there's a Matrix like illusion of choice by having nominally more than one party and the use of double speak to control frustrations.

I'll make the same recommendation and offer to you as I have made to others Kameo.

Move to the USA. Here at least there's a chance of fixing the problems. If you move to Tucson, I'll show you around.

Heh, well look at this.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016/01 ... ls-policy/

I imagine what's going on is actually great news for Breitbart, not like anybody else dares put forward an anti-migrant line.
