Gantz: We will never withdraw from the Golan

Former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz delivered his first political speech at the launching of his party's campaign Tuesday night.

"I love Israel, I proud of it and committed to it. For me Israel is really first of all, the citizens of Israel, from you I come, to you I return, and only to you I am committed. The people of Israel is a great story. It is bigger than any leader," Gantz said.

"I came here tonight also because I am worried about Israel. The people are strong, the country is wonderful, but in Israel there is an evil spirit, mutual responsibility is crumbling, politics are ugly.

Ganz attacked the prime minister, "I am proud of our country, I will never be ashamed of it, but lately, more and more people, on the right and left, feel embarrassed by the way our leadership behaves. The time has come for unified leadership, cohesion and cohesion, a way of behaving differently, which is not concerned only with itself."

"The current regime encourages incitement and subversion instead of serving the people. The government looms over the people, the people that bore [Prime Minister Netanyahu]. It does not see the families groaning under the cost of living, nor the young people who cannot buy an apartment.

Ganz declared his intention to run for prime minister and promised, "On April 9 I will establish a government, a government of power, a government of responsibility and firmness, a responsible government that is concerned about security and not intensifying anxieties."

"We will preserve the responsibility for security throughout the Land of Israel, but we can not turn us into a bi-national state," Gantz said, referring to his political plan, "We will preserve the Golan Heights, which will remain in our hands forever. And Jerusalem will remain forever the capital of the State of Israel and the Jewish people." ...

Rags don't need money from ooosah !!

Quote:
... Saeb Erekat, Secretary General of the PLO Executive Committee, confirmed on Thursday that US aid to the Palestinian Authority (PA) security services will come to an end as of Friday, February 1, 2019, at the request of the PA.

In a joint press conference with the deputy PA cabinet leader Nabil Abu Rudeineh, Erekat said that cabinet leader Rami Hamdallah has sent a letter to the US State Department asking them to end the US aid as of January 31 to avoid any lawsuits against the PA leadership under the Anti-Terrorism Clarification Act (ATCA) passed last year by the US Congress. The Act will enter into force on February 1, 2019.

“We do not want to receive any money if it will cause us to appear before the courts,” he said, according to the official PA Wafa news agency.

The ATCA legislation passed by Congress last year provides for any government that receives funding to be subject to US counterterrorism laws.

The PA faces potential lawsuits from families of American victims of past Palestinian attacks.

Erekat said on Thursday that “the US administration has cut $844 million to the Palestinian people and institutions, leading to the suspension of road projects, schools, sewage and water projects. These projects have not been completed in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.”

He stressed that the cessation of US aid to the security services will not affect the work of these devices during the year 2019.

“We are not in need of this [US] assistance… We simply say, Jerusalem is not for sale,” said Erekat, according to Wafa.

Since 2018, the US has cut aid to the Palestinian Authority, both by congressional action (including passage of the Taylor Force Act) and changes in policy by the Trump administration.

Trump's administration decided several months ago to completely halt its funding for the UN agency for “Palestinian refugees” (UNRWA), which had previously stood at around $350 million a year.

Later, it announced it would cut $25 million more in direct aid to six hospitals that primarily serve Palestinian Arabs in Jerusalem.

In September, Washington cut aid to the PA for programs supporting conflict resolution with Israelis.

Israeli and US officials have regularly blasted the PA for continuing to pay terrorists imprisoned in Israel and their families, thus encouraging further violence.

According to Palestinian Authority figures, the monthly allowance per prisoner is higher than that of an active member of the PA security forces. The PA budget for payments to terrorists in Israeli prisons skyrocketed to $158 million in 2017.

PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas has continuously stressed that “families of the martyrs will continue to receive their allowances in full." ...

AbbadaabbaDo wants no more shekels from Israel ...

Quote:
...PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has officially announced the PA will refuse to accept all tax money Israel transfers to the PA if Israel deducts the amount the PA uses to reward terrorists, reports Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). This PA policy may lead to a grave humanitarian crisis.

The Israeli Cabinet announced yesterday that Israel will be deducting 502,697,000 shekels/year - $139,638,000 - from taxes to be transferred to the PA. This is the amount reported exclusively by PMW that the PA paid in 2018 in salaries to imprisoned and released terrorists. This sum does not include the PA's financial rewards to families of dead terrorists, the so-called "martyrs," or to wounded terrorists. The deduction will be made in 12 monthly portions of approx. $11,636,500 million/month - almost 42 million shekels/month ...

In case the poles were unclear about the Israeli foreign minister's remarks ... Bibi clarified ...

Quote:
... “The memory of the Holocaust is something we cannot compromise about, it is something clear and we won’t forget or forgive. Poles collaborated with the Nazis, and as Yitzhak Shamir, whose father was murdered by Poles, said, ‘they suckle anti-Semitism with their mother’s milk’.” ...

BDS sells wine !!! :D

Quote:
As a supporter of boycotting Israel, Mieke Zagt had no intention of marketing Israeli wine when she posted on Twitter a picture of it on sale at the Hema Dutch supermarket chain.

But her tweet, meant to protest the sale, prompted Israel supporters here to mount a social media reaction so successful that the Israeli wines sold out at the Hema and the campaign became the number-one trending topic on Dutch Twitter on Tuesday.

The opening shot for the #tipvanMieke campaign was a tweet that Zagt, a scholar and Electronic Intifada contributor with fewer than 1,300 followers on Twitter, posted Monday afternoon.

“Hey, Hema, you’re selling Efrat wine from Judean Hills [as] made in Israel. Is this possible? Efrat and Judean Hills are in occupied Palestinian land. Efrat is an illegal Israeli colony. Can you verify the origin? #hema #notAgainAye!??” Zagt wrote, attaching a picture of the bottles in question.

In reality, the Efrat Winery is one of Israel’s oldest and located in Tsor’a, a town that is located within Israel’s 1949 armistice line. Despite its name, the wine is not from disputed territory.

But Zagt’s tweet ended in more than a geography lesson.

Gideon van der Sluis, a Dutch-born Israeli business consultant, and several other pro-Israel advocates began engaging on Twitter with like-minded users about Zagt’s tweet, labeling it with a hashtag meaning “TipFromMieke.” Within 24 hours it became the top-trending item on Dutch Twitter, with people from around the country using it with pictures of freshly bought Efrat wine bottles.

Within hours, both the red and white Efrat wines were sold out from the online store of Hema — a huge chain with 525 stores in the Netherlands alone.

That's pretty funny.

The strategy of the #SJW backfires completely!

Natanyahu wins ...

He might not be perfect, whatever that might mean, but he is so far ahead of the critters we elect ... so far ahead of the critters we have to choose from ...

I don't expect the siege of Israel to end in my life time ... but it would be nice if Israel could survive for a few more years ... I don't like religious states ... but I like the conviction ... the will to survive ... that I see in many Israeli's.

I think Israel "stopped being a religious" state round about 1941 when the Einsatzgruppen started getting busy with killing all the Joos. Kinda the same with Kurdistan.
