It has hard to imagine that this kind of Marxism ever happened in the US of A.

This branch of Marxism, one that doesn’t result in the deaths of tens of millions, is acceptable.

Jonathan Pie is having a hard Brexit...

I could be the catalyst that sparks the revolution
I could be an inmate in a long-term institution
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die
I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by
What a waste...

I saw that on yesterday. Pretty funny.

But is it true, by Boris' order that the word starting with 'b' is forbidden, verboten now?

You did't need marxism to wipe out the injuns, though. ;)

A YT video that I stumbled onto..these guys explore old abandoned mines.

https://youtu.be/WI6ApUvuToM

In this case they discovered a number of pairs of Levi’s jeans, literally worth MORE than their weight in gold.

Well, they seem to be using proper SRT and hat/light gear so that is a plus! Decent technique, though I'm a bit leery of using an ATV for a sole anchor. If that thing were to pop out of gear and roll over the hole it could be seriously bad news. If they've got it back up to something else with a proper load-distributing setup no big deal, but it looked like they just had it anchored to the vehicle only. Some of the second guys hand work with his Grigri around the lip was pretty amateurish, and that combined with the complete lack of any pads, and his commentary about "oh wow I didn't expect this to be this deep . . ." makes me pretty skeptical that these guys are actually experienced enough to be doing this safely even in a cave, much less an abandoned mine.

With all that said: just my first impressions. I've been put into mortal peril and had to help rescue buffoons one too many times, so I tend to be VERY picky about my caving partners. If you cannot adhere to MY safety standards, we're done. Simple as. I'd rather go solo than depend on goons who don't want to bother to do easy shit that enhances safety significantly.

If you believe chimps wouldn't kidnap and eat babies you haven't been paying attention to the literature.
