The question is will Mueller wait until his investigation is over or will he do like Comey did and draft a letter saying that no charges are warranted before his agents had even interviewed Hillary and her cronies, much less finished the investigation?

I enjoyed that Jerry Reed one! :)

Something is not right with Meuller's jaw. Its like he has a cyborg jaw or something . . .

Fallout 4 has been piquing my interest in late 1940s through early 1960s Americana . . . the Fallout Universe is a sort of "alternate" historical thing in which history diverged sometime after the end of WWII and America never quite lost its 1950's zeitgeist, even as of 2077 when a global nuclear war destroyed civilization.

The base game includes a soundtrack with a dozen or so songs from the era, and I have a mod that doubles or trebles that. Some surprising stuff.

For example, Mr. "5 by 5" by Ella Mae Morse. Seems to just be a song about a fat guy musician? But wow does it sound good!

She's a babe too eh?

So turns out, some music scholars suggest that SHE was the first "Rock 'N Roll" artist! :o
Quote:
As Morse's musical style blended jazz, blues, and country, she has sometimes been called the first rock 'n' roll singer. A good example is her 1942 recording of the song "Get On Board, Little Chillun", which, with strong gospel, blues, boogie, and jive sounds as a genuine precursor to the later rockabilly/ rock 'n roll songs.[12] Her records sold well to both Caucasian and African-American audiences. As she was not well known at the time of her first solo hits, many people assumed she was African-American because of her 'hip' vocal style and choice of material.[13]

That one they refer to, "Get On Board, little Chillun," is on Youtube and worth a listen if of interest, but not really her best I think.

Here is one from 1943 that is clearly supporting the war effort . . .

Interesting, here is one with several ladies from that era on the Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder in 1977. There is also a Part 2 on there.

It is important however, to draw the linkage with such historical cultural forms and the present!

Damn...never heard of Ella Mae. She was f****** good. Even so those are really swing tunes sung with a more Billy Holiday phrasing and soul. Still, fantastic singer.

Beautiful, effortless, unforced vibrato.

"Milkman, keep those bottles quiet" is a 1940's song about sex. Listen to the lyrics.
