If you think that's interesting, you should give the game Kerbal Space Program a go. Do all that in a PC sim yourself! 8-)

Oh yeah! I've played so much Kerbal I have completely burnt out on it! :P

I keep Steam in offline mode 98% of the time, and if memory serves, the version of Kerbal I originally owned was "pre-Steam." But I wouldn't be surprised if I had a couple thousand hours of Kerbal play.

Thanks for posting that.
I had never heard about that as an issue before.

Farming was in my family’s blood back in the “old”country.
Their farming though was unlike any modern US farmer.
They plowed using water buffaloes pulling an old fashioned plow.
They harvested their crops by hand.
They mowed their hay by hand with a scythe, gathered it with a rake, stacked it into piles by hand, and then once it had dried out they would manually load it into a horse drawn wagon and bring it back to the barn to be manually stacked into place for storage.

The farming that my parents and grandparents did would be recognizable to US farmers of the 1700s & 1800s.

"Right To Repair" has become an issue with numerous industries & end users in general.

Many corps took a cue from Apple and began monopolizing their service & repair. In industries where there are only a few large manufacturing corporations they can all start artificially locking out the means of repair, refuse to sell replacement parts in the retail market, or force proprietary accessories & parts in order to price gouge with little fear of competition setting things aright.

If some smaller manufacturer came along and built a good product that also provided easier and more open post-sale support, they'd make a killing. Up until the far more wealthy & influential corporate groups pulled strings and ran them into the ground (but not by a truly competitive market).

I think this guy might be my new favorite "intelligent" YTber

Can anybody make out his accent? Clearly European and I'd guess central Europe but beyond that not sure.

Gonna take a wild swing.

Sounds like a mix of French and some kind of Germanic accents? Maybe he's Swiss? Or between France & Germany -Luxembourg or Belgium?
