The Dems don't want any borders.....and they want no immigration enforcement in the interior either.

I do have a sneaking suspicion though that they are NOT opposed to 'enforcement' at the entrance to their secured/private security subdivisions and condo buildings.

Of course they exemplify hypocrisy and double standards! They don't give a fuck about "the little people," no matter what their skin color or native language or point of origin might be. All they care about is playing to the "We are the 'pro-minority, pro-disempowered (LGBTQXYZ) party!" and ostensibly getting votes for it. That is IT. Once they get the votes, they could care less if those communities actually thrive or assimilate or otherwise achieve 'normal' status within American society. In fact, they are motivated to keep any group which is disadvantaged in anyway STUCK in that state of disadvantage, or else to play up that state because their narrative depends on it.

Worst bunch of lying, cheating, crooks and charlatans since chiropractors.

About those cages that hold children that the Dems rail against Trump for:

Quote:
Former President Barack Obama's top immigration chief in charge of removing illegal immigrants said that the "cages" Democrats have accused President Trump of housing children in were the brainchild of the Obama administration.

"I've been to that facility, where they talk about cages. That facility was built under President Obama under (Homeland Security) Secretary Jeh Johnson. I was there because I was there when it was built," said Thomas Homan, who was Obama's executive associate director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement for nearly four years.

At an immigration conference today, Homan, under consideration for a new position of "border czar" in the Trump administration, grew visibly angry answering a question about "cages" often cited by Democratic critics of the president.

...

He cited one Democratic chairman who asked a Trump official, "You still keeping kids in cages?"

Homan, at the conference hosted by the Center for Immigration Studies, said, "I would answer the question, 'The kids are being house in the same facility built under the Obama administration.' If you want to call them cages, call them cages. But if the left wants to call them cages and the Democrats want to call them cages then they have to accept the fact that they were built and funded in FY 2015."

CBS posted this video on its YT channel this morning:

My YT comment regarding that video:

Quote:
Communicable diseases like chicken pox and scabies carried by people from countries that do a poor job of vaccinating against them. Due to the volume of illegals coming across the border, authorities are not able to conduct proper health reviews to test for these sorts of illnesses before these people are released into the American public at large as a result of the “catch and release” policy. This would be made much worse should those calling for “open borders” and for the abolishment of ICE get their wishes.

The video itself is getting ratio'd...currently with 29 Likes and 50 Dislikes.

Yuma Sector Arrests Drug Smuggler Traveling with his Family

Release Date:
July 23, 2019

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents working at the Highway 78 Immigration Checkpoint in Blythe, California arrested a Mexican national smuggling methamphetamine on his body while traveling with his pregnant wife and three children Monday.

At approximately 2 p.m., Blythe Station agents referred a 1997 Nissan Maxima for secondary inspection following a canine alert. Two adults and three children occupied the vehicle. A search of the driver revealed approximately 5.3 pounds of methamphetamine wrapped in cellophane around his waist. The narcotics have an estimated street value of $12,190.

The 31-year-old male Mexican national driver was arrested for controlled substance violations. His wife, a Mexican national lawfully admitted for permanent residence, and the couple’s children were released. The vehicle and narcotics were seized.
The 2018 National Drug Threat Assessment reported that the Southwest Border remains the main entry point for the majority of methamphetamine entering the United States. According to the 2019 Global Drug Survey, meth was the second leading drug causing individuals to seek emergency medical treatment and the fourth leading drug resulting in hospital admission.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials welcome assistance from the community. Individuals can report suspicious activity to the Border Patrol and remain anonymous by calling 1-877-872-7435 toll free. Reporting illicit activity could result in saving someone’s life.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders at and between official ports of entry. CBP is charged with securing the borders of the United States while enforcing hundreds of laws and facilitating lawful trade and travel.

Photo of the perp at the above link.

Just a hard working Mexican national in the pharmaceutical business trying to provide for his family?

Was ICE wrong in just locking him or or should they have kept the family together (in lockup)?

Ann Coulter: How we became the world's suckers on immigration

BY ANN COULTER, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR — 07/29/19 10:30 AM EDT 5,030 THE VIEWS EXPRESSED BY CONTRIBUTORS ARE THEIR OWN AND NOT THE VIEW OF THE HILL

Looking at our immigration policies compared to the rest of the world, you’d think America lost a bet.

The United States is one of only two developed countries in the world (the other is Canada, and even it has some restrictions we don’t have) with full “birthright citizenship,” meaning that any child born when his mother was physically present within the geographical borders of the U.S. automatically gets a U.S. birth certificate and a Social Security card.

That means legal immigrants, pregnant women sneaking in on tourist visas, travelers on a three-week vacation, cheap foreign workers on “temporary” visas and, in some cases, foreign diplomats.

There are laws on the books that say the kids born to diplomats don’t automatically become citizens simply by being born here but — like so many of our immigration laws — these are treated as mere suggestions.

And that’s not all.

We’re the only country but two that confers automatic citizenship on children born to illegal aliens, or “anchor babies.” This is not “birthright citizenship,” which refers to children born to legal immigrants. (There’s nothing vulgar, bigoted, racial or sexual about the term “anchor baby.” It’s a boating metaphor: A geographical U.S. birth “anchors” the child’s entire family in this country by virtue of the baby’s citizenship.)

The other two countries that grant citizenship to anchor babies are Canada and Tanzania. Canada doesn’t have Latin America on its border, of course — and Tanzania is reconsidering the policy.

Here’s a fun fact: Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman — the notorious Mexican drug lord, sentenced on July 17 to life plus 30 years for drug trafficking and multiple murder conspiracies — has two children who are American, born in sunny California to his wife, who’s an anchor baby herself.

Why would any country make the calculated decision to reward illegal immigration by granting the full privileges of citizenship to the children of illegals or foreign visitors who arrange to have the births take place on its soil?

As a matter of fact, “we” didn’t make such a decision.

The late Supreme Court Justice William Brennan invented the anchor-baby policy out of whole cloth and snuck it into a footnote of an opinion written in 1982. Yes, this ancient bedrock principle, this essence of “Who We Are,” dates all the way back to the Reagan administration.

The Brennan footnote was not part of the decision. It does not have the force of law. Yet, today, we act as if Brennan’s absurd dicta is the law of the land for no reason other than: a) sheer ignorance and b) a fear of being called “racist.”

No U.S. Congress or Supreme Court ever debated and then approved the idea that children born to mothers illegally present in the country should automatically become citizens. Consequently, any president or Congress could simply state that children born to illegal aliens are not citizens. If only we had a president or Congress that would do so.

Which reminds me: No other country fawns over illegal immigrants brought in as minors, day in and day out, calling them “Dreamers.”

The U.S. is one of the rare countries that makes citizens of people who can’t speak the language — along with the masochistic Swedes. (How did they terrorize the world 800 years ago?) The United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Norway and the Netherlands all have the crazy idea that citizens should be able to communicate with one another. We have a language requirement on the books but, it turns out, that too is merely a suggestion.

No other country holds a “lottery” in which the prize is U.S. citizenship. Ireland has a lottery but, for whatever sick and twisted reason, the Irish give the winners money, not citizenship in their country.

We bring in 50,000 lucky lottery winners each year, literally for no reason at all. (Thanks, First President Bush!) To enter, you must be from a specified country, like the Congo, Nepal, Ethiopia or Uzbekistan. You submit your name to the State Department and, if your name is pulled out of a hat, WELCOME TO AMERICA!

This rigorous system for choosing our fellow citizens gave us, for example, Egyptian national Hesham Mohamed Ali Hedayet, who opened fire at the El Al Airlines ticket counter at Los Angeles International Airport in 2002, murdering two people. His wife had won the lottery five years after he came here on a tourist visa.

It got us Sayfullo Saipov, the Uzbeki who plowed a rented truck into a crowd of bicyclists and pedestrians on Halloween 2017 in New York City, killing eight and injuring many more.

It bestowed upon us Akayed Ullah, the Bangladeshi national who got in as the nephew of a lottery winner. Ullah enriched us by detonating a bomb in New York City’s Port Authority in December 2017.

Speaking of nephews of Bangladeshi lottery winners trying to blow up the Port Authority, no other major country in the world issues a majority of its visas to people based on the fact that they have a relative already living here.

We’re not talking about the spouses and minor children of immigrants we really want. These are adult siblings, nephews and nieces — who have their own adult children, elderly parents and mothers-in-law. Two-thirds of all legal immigrants to the U.S. come in on these “family reunification” visas. (We wouldn’t want our immigrants to be illiterate, poor and lonesome.)

Even the New York Times — despite its decidedly anti-MAGA bent — has described our “family reunification” system as wildly out of step with the rest of the world.

We’re in a buyer’s market but, instead of taking the top draft picks, we aggressively recruit the desperately poor, the culturally deprived, the sick and the needy. All because American elites seem to believe that it’s unfair — even snooty — to try to bring in the best immigrants we can.

Two illegal immigrants have been charged with second degree rape of the same 11-year-old girl in Maryland.

Montgomery County Police arrested Mauricio Barrera-Navidad, 29, of Damascus, Maryland, and Carlos Palacios-Amaya, 28, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, for allegedly raping the same under-aged girl on multiple occasions, WJLA reports.

NEW: 29yo Mauricio Berrera-Navidad of Damascus, Md. + 28yo Carlos Palacios-Amaya of Gaithersburg, Md. are accused of raping an 11-year-old Germantown, Md. girl.

MoCo Police say the men (both friends with the victim's older brother) committed the rapes on separate occasions.

The victim reported the instances of rape to a school social worker in July.

The victim was introduced to Palacios-Amaya in September 2018 through her older brother, according to WJLA. Palacios-Amaya then reportedly raped her several times over the following months, authorities say.

On one occasion, Palacios-Amaya used a cell phone to record sexual acts with the 11-year-old, according to court documents. Investigators reportedly found several images on Palacios-Amaya’s cell phone of himself and the victim.

The victim explained to the social worker that Palacios-Amaya would pressure her to stay home from school so he could spend the day with her alone while her parents were away at work.

The second alleged rapist, Barrera-Navidad, reportedly attended the victim’s older brother’s birthday party at a trailer park in Germantown, Maryland, in July 2018, where he allegedly raped the 11-year-old in a bedroom, WJLA reports.

UPDATE: According to ICE, both suspects in this child rape case are living in the U.S. illegally.

Palacios-Amaya was removed from the U.S. in 2014 and re-entered on an unknown date.

Barrera-Navidad received a “final order of removal” in 2016.

Both men are Salvadoran nationals.

Montgomery County District Court Judge Sherri Koch granted Barrera-Navidad, an El Salvadorian national, a $100,000 bond, though he remains incarcerated while awaiting trial. Palacios-Amaya, also an El Salvadorian national and charged with four rape counts, was denied bond by Montgomery County District Court Judge Eric Nee.

ICE has confirmed both suspects are present in the United States illegally. Palacios-Amaya had been previously deported in 2014 and reentered the U.S. at an unknown time, according to ICE.

I hope that at no point in the future a judge allows either of these two scumbags out of bail so that they can 'self-deport' themselves.

ICE arrests convicted illegal alien sex offender RELEASED by sanctuary Boulder County

Daniel Horowitz · August 16, 2019

It’s not just low-level criminal aliens who are released by sanctuary jurisdictions like Boulder County, Colorado, in defiance of federal law. Sanctuaries apparently will not honor ICE detainer requests even for those convicted of child sex charges.

“On Aug. 7, 2019, in Longmont, Colorado, deportation officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Roberto Gutierrez-Hernandez, 59, a citizen of Mexico, who was convicted July 15, 2019, in the 20th Judicial District Court Boulder County of sex assault on a child,” said an ICE spokeswoman in a statement issued last week to local media.

How was someone convicted of sex assault on a child released after conviction?

In July, Gutierrez-Hernandez was sentenced to 10 years of “sex offender intensive supervised probation,” but no jail time. I confirmed this with the Boulder County district attorney’s office. This explains why he wasn’t locked up even after the conviction. The fact that someone convicted of child sex offenses doesn’t serve a day of prison is also peculiar, but has become very common in blue states like Colorado.

But the story is worse than that. There is a history behind the Gutierrez-Hernandez story that has not been released to the public nor reported on by local media. According to ICE spokeswoman Alethea Smock, Gutierrez-Hernandez was arrested twice in 2017. Before being arrested for the child sex offense in November of that year, he was arrested in March. ICE placed detainers both times. Both detainers were ignored and he was set free, which makes the sex offense 100 percent avoidable. He should have been detained and deported after the March arrest. Moreover, this means an illegal alien sex offender was able to remain in the community for nearly two years through the disposition of this case without being removed.

“ICE lodged a detainer on Roberto Gutierrez-Hernandez, 59, a citizen of Mexico, with the Boulder County (Colorado) Jail after Gutierrez-Hernandez was arrested on local charges in March 2017,” said Smock Thursday to a CR inquiry. “The jail refused to honor the detainer and released him back to the community to reoffend. Gutierrez was later arrested for sexual assault on a child in November 2017, and ICE lodged another detainer with the Boulder County Jail. However, the jail refused to honor the agency’s detainer a second time.”

Court records show he was arrested for aggravated assault in March 2017, but charges were later dismissed. However, that should still have led to his removal. Only legal immigrants with green cards require a conviction to warrant removal.

It wasn’t until last month that Gutierrez-Hernandez was finally sentenced. Even then, he was let out on probation, and had ICE not caught up with him, he would have remained undetected. Colorado, in violation of 8 U.S. Code §1324 and §1373, passed a law earlier this year barring local law enforcement from sharing probation records with ICE. §1324 prohibits states from shielding aliens from detection, while §1373 prohibits them from “prohibit[ing], or in any way restrict[ing], any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.”

The purpose of those federal laws is quite simple. With the recidivism problem among criminals on probation, there is no reason why American communities should be on the hook for future crimes committed by illegal aliens. The entire premise of a criminal alien remaining in this country on probation is a laughable paradox. He should complete his “probation” outside the country, where, according to immigration law, he belongs, even without the criminal record.

Shockingly, even in the case of a convicted child sex offender, Colorado and Boulder County in particular will do everything they can to harbor the ultimate public safety concern.

This is a growing problem. As I reported earlier this month, Oregon has also let out criminal aliens charged with child sex offenses, against ICE detainers. Yet because of the DHS’ strict privacy policies, ICE officials are prohibited from proactively publicizing the egregious records of the criminal aliens shielded by sanctuaries or being heralded as “victims” by many in the local and national media.

In this case, for example, the local media is publishing puff pieces sympathetic to this convicted child sex offender and insinuating that ICE is denying this individual health care in the detention facility, but fails to mention the fact that he was a child sex offender who should long ago have been removed from the country if not for the sanctuary policies. Local media has been posting Facebook videos taken by this individual’s son and treating the convicted sex offender as a victim.

“I don’t feel he’s getting adequate care, no,” Robert Gutierrez said about his father, according to the local NBC affiliate. “From the calls that we’ve received from him, he complains a lot from the way the psychologist and doctors treat him. Yesterday we got reports of the psychologist laughing at whatever he was saying.” A group of activists are protesting treatment at the facility.

This is a case of inmates running the asylum. Illegal aliens can break into the country, be ordered deported, commit the most heinous crimes, and then when ICE does the community a favor and enforces the law, ICE agents get treated like the criminals while the child molesters are treated as victims.

It was only by chance that I came across this story and asked the right questions, which allowed ICE to release the truth about this individual. There are endless cases like these on a daily basis, but the information never gets out to the public. There is therefore no robust debate about how to close the criminal alien loopholes and enforce federal law against sanctuary cities.

Particularly jarring here is that Gutierrez-Hernandez was placed on the Colorado sex offender registry in July:

Image

Obviously, we are a very divided country on many issues, including some of the fundamentals of immigration policy. But by definition, if someone has to be placed on a sex offender registry and is therefore a public safety threat, how could we have illegal aliens knowingly listed by local government and not turned over to ICE? The entire purpose of the registry that we don’t lock up sex offenders forever and are forced to take precautions when they are let out. But illegal aliens can and should be removed from the country. How many other illegal aliens remain in this country in plain sight, listed on sex offender registries?

Why is it too much to ask that we don’t harbor other countries’ child sex offenders?
