Police: MS-13 Members Maimed, Decapitated Man in Maryland Park

Miguel Angel Lopez-Abrego, 19, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder

As many as 10 members of the gang MS-13 stabbed a man more than 100 times in a Maryland park, ripped out his heart and buried him, officials say.

Court documents released Wednesday reveal gruesome details about the killing of a man officials in Montgomery County still have not been able to identify.

Miguel Angel Lopez-Abrego, 19, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

A ranking gang member told police Lopez-Abrego was the first person to stab the victim, court documents say.

The informant said that he, Lopez-Abrego and eight other MS-13 gang members lured the victim to Wheaton Regional Park this spring. For about two weeks, they planned how to get the man to go from the Annapolis area to Wheaton because they planned to kill him and dispose of his body, the informant told police.

Lopez-Abrego helped dig a grave for the victim and used a walkie-talkie to tell the other gang members when the victim had arrived, the informant told police.

Then, the gang members choked him, stabbed him more than 100 times, decapitated him and dismembered him, the informant said. They ripped his heart from his chest and threw it into the grave they dug for him.

On Sept. 5, the informant led detectives to the body. The man's remains were where the informant said they would be, and he had injuries consistent with the torture the informant described.

Lopez-Abrego was found in North Carolina on Nov. 11 and arrested on a first-degree murder warrant. He has been extradited to Montgomery County.

Police are still working to identify the victim. In September, investigators released several photos of clothing and a rosary that were found with him.

he items included a rosary, a sweatshirt with a Methodist church logo and a pair of blue shorts. You can see the photos on the Montgomery County Police website.

Police say the victim was a Hispanic man who was about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 126 pounds. He had short, dark brown hair. He was missing a bottom tooth, and police believe he was living in the Annapolis area.

Anyone with information is asked to call 240-773-5070.

Objections Raised To Deporting Illegal Alien MS-13 Members. Wait… What?
JAZZ SHAWPosted at 8:01 am on November 30, 2017

This probably isn’t the best day to bring up a story like this, coming only 24 hours after government leaders in Maryland seemed to be unclear as to whether or not they had a plan to combat gang violence. But as it turns out, there was at least one law enforcement group which not only had a plan, but had been busy implementing it for more than a year. In Harford County, slightly to the northeast of Baltimore, the County Sheriff’s department has been identifying residents of their jail who turned out to be in the country illegally.

Comparing those records with the criminal profiles of the illegal aliens, they were able to identify a number of them who were involved in gang activity, including at least four who were members of MS-13, one of the most violent gangs operating in the nation. Sounds to me like a sheriff’s department that was taking a bite out of crime. (CBS Baltimore)

It’s one year into a controversial immigration program, and Harford County says it’s flagged dozens of people for possible deportation. The sheriff calls it a success, despite concerns from immigration advocates.

The more than 40 people facing possible deportation were flagged by deputies as they came into the county jail.

Harford county correctional deputies are not only scanning arrestees’ criminal backgrounds, but also their immigration status.

Out of 144 screenings, 40 were found to be illegal aliens with many of them being flagged as gang members. As mentioned above, four of them were with the notorious MS-13 gang. So we should be happy to see them on their way out of the country, right?

Surprisingly, not everyone was.

Neighborhoods where CASA’s director Elizabeth Alex warned that programs like this could breed mistrust in the police.

“There’s sort of this extra fear that immigrants will go further into the shadows and not participate,” Alex said back when the program launched.

Sheriff Sahler says if you don’t break the law, there’s nothing to worry about.

“As sheriff, I don’t want to return criminals to our community to further victimize the citizens of Harford County,” he said.

Seriously? It may be time for some sort of sanity check, not just in this single Maryland county, but in all the cities where gang violence is ripping apart the fabric of civil society. We’re not talking about illegal aliens who may be working jobs off the books or engaging in identity theft here. These are gang members, including MS-13. Whether they are citizens or illegal aliens, they’re a scourge on our society and responsible for everything from drug distribution networks and illegal gun trafficking to flat-out murder.

If you have the opportunity to turn them over to ICE and get them out of our country, how would any sane individual not jump at the chance? If your concern is that other illegal aliens might be driven “further into the shadows” and not “participate” in law enforcement efforts, your priorities have become extremely skewed. There’s a war going on out in the streets of too many of our cities and law-abiding citizens are all too often losing that war and winding up as collateral damage.

If decent people want to take back control of their own communities they have to jointly decide that enough is enough. If you keep electing officials who refuse to make the hard decisions and actually take on the bad guys, nothing is going to save you. Sheriff Sahler should have been getting a medal for the work he was doing, but he’s instead the target of criticism. We’re living in Bizarro World at this point.

Cartel Gunmen Leave Human Heads at Mexican TV Station

by CARTEL CHRONICLES
30 Nov 2017
Guadalajara, MX

Mexico’s Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) continues spreading bloodshed and death threats after gunmen left two human heads outside of the Televisa TV station in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
A Mexican federal law enforcement source confirmed to Breitbart Texas that the gunmen left ice chests with human remains in various parts of Jalisco. While the case left in front of the TV station did not contain any cartel threats against reporters, Mexican authorities suspect the group is looking to get attention for recent violent acts after they threatened a local police chief close to the governor and a local judge. The chest left at the TV station contained two human heads.

“Jesus Humberto Boruel Neri, number 1202, here I leave you these heads, let’s see if you go public, not like on Sunday 19-11-17 when we threw grenades and you hid it,” one of the recovered messages said. “You know that deals have to be kept or do you want us to remind you why you are there and who put you there.”

Law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas that Boruel is one of the top leaders of the state police, and at one time, was the bodyguard of current Governor Aristoteles Sandoval. During his time as a bodyguard, Boruel was arrested for his alleged role in the murder of a man in Tlaquepaque, but was later released for a lack of evidence. In another part of the city, authorities found another ice chest with a message for a local judge: “[expletive] Judge Molina, you are next.”

Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila, and Nuevo León to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities. The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. This article was written by Tony Aranda from Nuevo León.

Illegal Alien Convicted of Sexual Assault Deported from U.S. 20 Times

Image

by KATHERINE RODRIGUEZ
2 Dec 2017

A Mexican man convicted of sexual assault and other charges who was in the U.S. illegally had been deported from the U.S. 20 times, court documents show.

A judge sentenced Sergio Jose Martinez, 31, to 35 years behind bars Friday after Martinez pleaded guilty to sodomy, sexual assault, kidnapping, and other charges for attacking two women on separate occasions, the Associated Press reports.

Martinez told the two victims in the Portland, Oregon, courtroom that he would see them in hell after he learned of his fate from the judge.

Martinez attacked two women in Portland on July 24. He threatened and sexually assaulted his first victim, a 65-year-old woman, after he broke into her Northeast Portland home through a window she left open. He then stole her car and her purse.

Martinez approached his second victim in a parking lot with a knife and forced her to get into her vehicle. She attempted to escape, but Martinez grabbed her and pushed her head into the ground.

Police who had been monitoring Martinez after he stole the first vehicle apprehended him after he tried to flee the scene on foot.

Martinez took a plea deal that spared him from getting a longer sentence in exchange for pleading guilty to ten counts, including sexual assault, first-degree burglary, sodomy, second-degree assault, and kidnapping.

Jonathan Sarre, Martinez’s attorney, said his client “suffers from some mental illnesses” that may have caused him to act inappropriately.

However, Sarre acknowledged that a doctor declared his client competent enough to stand trial.

Court documents filed in March show that U.S. officials deported Martinez 20 times for several probation violations after being convicted of felony burglary and for crossing into the U.S. illegally.

Officials freed Martinez from a Portland-area jail a week before the July 24 attacks, after he was accused of interfering with police and giving a false birth date.

Martinez had been released despite Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) request to the jail to keep him there until the agency could take him into custody.

In a separate instance, officials released him from Multnomah County Jail into the community without notifying ICE in December 2016 after he faced kidnapping, sodomy, robbery, and assault charges in a separate case.

ICE wanted the local authorities to notify them when Martinez was set to be released.

The county sheriff and other Multnomah County officials wrote a letter defending their decision to release him.

“The Sheriff’s Office does not hold people in county jails on ICE detainers or conduct any immigration enforcement actions,” the letter read in part.

Officials released Martinez in accordance with a 1987 Oregon law that prevented law enforcement from keeping people in custody who entered the U.S. illegally but did not break any other laws. Oregon became the nation’s first “sanctuary state” after the law passed.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions used Martinez’s case as an example of how some local jurisdictions do not comply with federal immigration agents when he visited Oregon in September, urging local jurisdictions there to change their policies.

Hey Sheriff Dumbass, he was previously wanted for "kidnapping, sodomy, robbery, and assault charges".

The Oregon law keeps law enforcement from keeping people in custody who entered the U.S. illegally but did not break any other laws

What would Sheriff Numbnuts consider "kidnapping, sodomy, robbery, and assault charges"?

20 fucking prior deportations, with prior cases of "kidnapping, sodomy, robbery, and assault charges" and local law enforcement is still unwilling to hold them for ICE to come and pick them up?????

This is as if we are living in a parallel world of insanity.

After Steinle verdict, rep unveils bill to imprison officials who shelter illegal immigrants

Barnini Chakraborty By Barnini Chakraborty | Fox News

EXCLUSIVE – A Republican congressman plans to introduce a bill Monday that would threaten huge fines and prison time for elected officials accused of sheltering illegal immigrant criminals from deportation, in the wake of the not-guilty verdict in the Kate Steinle murder trial.

Indiana Rep. Todd Rokita’s bill is one of the most aggressive pieces of legislation to date aimed at sanctuary city policies, going beyond the Justice Department’s threat to cut off grants to those jurisdictions.

“Politicians don’t get to pick and choose what laws to comply with,” Rokita told Fox News. “Americans are dying because politicians sworn to uphold the law refuse to do so.”

His “Stopping Lawless Actions of Politicians (SLAP) Act” would hold state and local lawmakers criminally responsible for refusing to comply with federal immigration enforcement efforts. The Republican’s bill would subject violators to a $1 million fine and up to five years in prison if they are convicted.

“It’s time the federal government gets serious about enforcing immigration laws and holding politicians accountable who conspire to break them,” said Rokita.

Rokita also supported “Kate’s Law” – legislation that would boost penalties for illegal immigrants who were previously deported and that was named after Steinle.

On Thursday, Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, an illegal immigrant who already had been deported back to Mexico five times, was acquitted in the 2015 murder of Steinle on a San Francisco pier.

Zarate’s attorneys argued Zarate had found a gun that accidentally discharged, and the bullet ricocheted off the ground before hitting Steinle. Prosecutors argued Zarate intentionally shot 32-year-old Steinle.

The killing revived a national debate over sanctuary city policies, as some lawmakers as well as Steinle’s family faulted San Francisco for releasing the suspect from a local jail without notifying federal immigration officials.

President Trump, who frequently cited Steinle’s case on the campaign trail, called the not-guilty verdict “disgraceful” and a “complete travesty of justice.”
Attorney General Jeff Sessions took direct aim at the city, saying San Francisco’s “decision to protect criminal aliens led to the preventable and heartbreaking death of Kate Steinle.”

In an interview prior to Thursday’s verdict, Steinle’s family said they wanted the case out of the national spotlight. “We just want to get this over with and move on with our lives, and think about Kate on our terms,” Jim Steinle, Kate’s father, told the San Francisco Chronicle.

Following the verdict, he said his family was shocked Zarate was convicted only of firearm possession.

On Friday, the DOJ released an amended arrest warrant for Zarate for a supervised release violation.

Rokita’s bill follows a similar attempt in Texas to punish local officials who ignore federal requests to hold and then potentially turn over suspects for possible deportation. That law is the subject of a federal court challenge.

That's a welcome escalation! Even if it doesn't pass through, at least it is upping the ante of the discourse!
