If you were referring to Ben Shapiro, I don't think that he is 'a gay guy'

Quote:
Personal life
Shapiro has three sisters. In 2008, he married Mor Toledano, an Israeli citizen of Moroccan descent.[50] Shapiro and his wife practice Orthodox Judaism.[51][52] She is a doctor.[53] Together, they have a daughter, born in 2014,[54] and a son, born in 2016.[55]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Shapiro#Personal_life

And, yeah, Shapiro is waaaaay smarter than she is.
He is an excellent public speaker and a great debater.
He would run circles around her and leave her a stuttering mess in his dust.

I think that you might be confusing Ben Shapiro with Dave Rubin.

They are both dark haired.
They are both pretty smart.
They are both Jewish.

Rubin is openly gay.

The way to tell them apart is that Shapiro is skinnier and has a rapid fire staccato voice,
Rubin is not as skinny and has a more laid back voice.

Former ‘Gun Regulation’ Democratic Candidate Is Now Facing A Murder Charge

A former Democratic candidate for Congress, who campaigned on gun control and gun regulation just last year, is now being charged with larceny and murder.

Kellie Collins, who ran in Georgia’s 10th Congressional district, was accused of murdering her former campaign treasurer, Curtis Cain last week.

WSBTV-2 in Atlanta reports:

Kellie Collins, of Thomason, turned herself into the McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office just as authorities in Aiken County, South Carolina found the body of Curtis Cain, Collins’ former campaign treasurer.

Investigators said Cain did not show up for work on Tuesday, so deputies went to his home to check on him. That’s when they found him dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The coroner said the body had been there for at least four days.

According to the report, Cain’s car was also missing, hence the larceny charge.

The initial report does not state a potential motive for the killing, but one has to wonder how a gun control advocate goes from pushing new regulations to prevent violence to snapping and murdering a former member of her campaign.

WJBF-TV gives more details on some of the rhetoric that Collins engaged in during her short time on the campaign trail.

NewsChannel 6’s Ashley Osborne did some digging into Collins’ political past. Athens, GA news agency, Online Athens, reported one of the positions highlighted on her website was ‘responsible’ gun regulation. Collins said we need to, ‘shield the community from the effects of firearms falling into the wrong hands.’ One year later, she is behind bars charged with the shooting death of her former campaign treasurer.

While running for Congress, Collins told an online blog called Girls Really Rule, she planned to ‘practice what I preach and be a proponent of public policies that benefit the community as a whole.’

Collins’ statement that the community needs to “shield [itself] from the effects of firearms falling into the wrong hands” is nothing short of ironic. Her hands ended up being the wrong hands.

Stories like this unravel the narrative purported by “responsible” or “reasonable” gun control proponents. It’s hard for any side of the political aisle to advocate for policy changes and promote a key message to the party’s platform when supposed supporters of such policies break them in the worst way imaginable.

Kellie Collins sought to unseat U.S. Rep. Jody Hice last year, but WJBF-TV explains she “left the race before qualifying” and explains she dropped out for “personal reasons.”

Being psychotic must’ve been one of those reasons.

Collins is also quoted in the blog saying, "When your friends and family are depending on you to make ethical decisions that affect their lives for many years a member of Congress should hold her or himself to a much higher standard than the bare minimum that many GOP members are currently using as a benchmark."

I think that the overwhelming majority of GOP members of Congress have not murdered their campaign treasurers.

Well, lets see if she is indicted or not. Being charged and turning yourself in are not the same thing as being found guilty.

For First Time In History, Democrats (Admit to Pollsters That They) View Socialism More Favorably Than Capitalism
—Ace of Spades

I'm old enough to remember when saying that Democrats were socialists was officially racist, according to the Democrat Party communications operations and its partner, the Democrat/socialist media.

It was a "racial code-word," you see. A "dog whistle."

Now Democrats are proclaiming it themselves.

Does that make them racist?

Democrats More Positive About Socialism Than Capitalism by Frank Newport
47% of Democrats view capitalism positively, down from 56% in 2016

57% of Democrats now view socialism positively, little changed from 2010

Republicans very positive about capitalism; 16% positive on socialism

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- For the first time in Gallup's measurement over the past decade, Democrats have a more positive image of socialism than they do of capitalism. Attitudes toward socialism among Democrats have not changed materially since 2010, with 57% today having a positive view. The major change among Democrats has been a less upbeat attitude toward capitalism, dropping to 47% positive this year -- lower than in any of the three previous measures.

I wasn't aware that Democrats has long admitted to a favorable impression of socialism, which is why I'm now particularly angry at the media denying it all these years when Democrats have expressed near-60% pro-socialist leanings since Barack Obama's first year in office.

The big change here is the 9% drop in Democrat support of capitalism.

IMO he whole "-ism" categorical thing is a bit of a red herring. Socialism. Capitalism. Authortarianism. Libertarianism. These things are continua, not categorical. SOME aspects of socialism are very desirable, and many aspects of capitalism are just "corporate socialism" dressed up in baloney.

Bailing out GM and Chrysler, Sachs and not sending 90% of those executives to prison was clearly corporate socialism.

It comes down to this, every person likes whatever "-ism" that takes money from others and puts it into their own pockets.

Had my way, my ism would be nationalism and fuck the economic theory. Single payer health care would replace 80% of the private health care insurance and hospital systems in the US. Destroying United Health care and the like would be good for most Americans.
