Florida Driver Resists Arrest, Punches Cop, Yells ‘Black Lives Matter’
Clearly a model citizen.

7.7.2017

A Golden Gate, Florida, man resisted arrest and punched an officer during a traffic stop over a seatbelt violation. When he was booked into jail, he yelled, “Black lives matter!”

Naples Daily News reports that Anthony Denson Jr., 34, was driving without a seatbelt. A deputy deployed on the gang unit asked Denson for his license, insurance, and registration, but was met with resistance. Denson cursed and told the officer he didn’t have the documents and admitted the car wasn’t his. The arrest report stated that Denson refused the cops orders and said, “No, you’re going to shoot me.”

Denson wasn’t complying to the officer’s demands to exit the vehicle and began to shake his body and growl, grinding his teeth, the report adds. Denson was threatened with a Taser and finally exited the vehicle. But when he did, he punched the officer in the face. Denson complained that the cop was “breaking his wrist” with the handcuffs.

When Denson was booked into the Naples jail, he threatened his arresting officer with retaliation and yelled “Black lives matter!”

Naples Daily News states, “Denson was charged with obstructing an officer; battery of a law enforcement officer; threatening to do serious bodily harm to a public official; and driving while his license was suspended, second offense.”

“Denson's license was suspended in April on suspicion of failing to pay child support, the arrest report states.”

This comes during the same week a NYPD officer was ambushed and gunned down in her patrol vehicle.A

Gang of goats terrorizes Louisville business

POSTED 10:29 PM, JULY 17, 2017, BY KEAGAN HARSHA

LOUISVILLE, Colo. -- A destructive criminal remains on the loose in Louisville. Police believe he's part of a gang that spent almost 30 minutes terrorizing a local business.

Employees at Kryptane Systems arrived at work to find the front doors had been shattered.

The company's president did what anyone would do. He called police to report a break-in.

"There was shattered glass everywhere. Instantly he thought it was vandals of some sort," said Greg Cappert, an engineer for the company.

However, what happened next is so bizarre and unheard of, even police say they'll be talking about it for years.

While police investigated the crime scene, the company's president pulled up surveillance video of the front of the building, and watched as a gang of goats committed their crime.

"For 20 minutes he just sat and banged on that one side until he broke it, and then he left and came back and decided to break the other side too. I don't know why. That was just to be mean I guess," said Cappert.

"Buck" or "Billy" then fled the scene of the crime without showing even a shred of remorse.

"We understand the description is he's very hairy, has some large horns, and is possibly hooved," said Commander Jeff Fisher with the Louisville Police Department.

While the goat his gang are now gone, a pile of evidence remains.

"We did find some feces that was nearby the site," said Cappert.

Police say it's only a matter of time until the "kids" are caught. It's suspected they escaped a nearby farm about a block away.

"Yeah, they're still out there somewhere, so protect your doors everyone," said Cappert.

Reinforce your doors now and hide, for goats are on the loose.

Rapper films video in West Oakland to "chronicles "the lack of opportunity" in the community and "the stress and drama that comes with that."

What happens?

This:

Hip-hop star Zion I robbed of $90,000 camera during West Oakland music video shoot

By Michelle Robertson, SFGATE Updated 5:02 pm, Friday, July 28, 2017

Hip-hop artist Zion I and a film crew were robbed at gunpoint while shooting a music video in West Oakland on Monday, July 10. No one was injured, but the thieves made off with a $90,000 camera, according to a statement on the musician's Facebook page.

The shoot was underway in the Prescott neighborhood near Willow and 11th streets, reports the East Bay Express, when men suddenly emerged from a car, put a gun to the cameraman's head and took off with his Red Camera, along with all of the footage taken that day.

Zion I, an Oakland native, told Complex that he had noticed the thieves driving past an hour before the robbery took place, but "was just so into how dope the footage was looking and the good vibe on set that I chose to ignore my intuition," he said.

According to a statement by the musician on a GoFundMe page, the music video chronicles "the lack of opportunity" in the community and "the stress and drama that comes with that."

"My reason for filming in the heart of West Oakland and the storyline of the video...make it all the more ironic that we ended up being victimized," the musician wrote. He then asked for community support to help cover the camera's insurance deductible and to fund security for a future re-shoot.

Just last week a film crew was robbed at gunpoint while shooting "This is Summer," a reality tv show that follows 17-year-olds growing up in the Bay Area. When filming in the East Bay, local tv news crews often employ a security guard.

Cops: Cicero woman is arrested on DUI charge while driving to DUI counseling session

Vanessa Vargas (Riverside Police Department)

Chicago Tribune

A Cicero woman was charged with DUI on Monday after being stopped by Riverside police while she was en route to a court-mandated counseling session prompted by an earlier DUI conviction, police said.

According to a news release from Riverside police, Vanessa Vargas, 23, was stopped about 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Woodside Road for allegedly driving 45 mph in a 25-mph zone. An officer said he could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the car.

When she was asked to step out of the car, Vargas told police she was on her way to mandated DUI classes in Chicago that were part of a plea deal made after a 2016 DUI arrest in Berwyn, police said.

Vargas, who police said could barely stand, failed field sobriety tests. Her blood-alcohol count was 0.196, more than twice the legal limit, police said.

She admitted drinking beer and smoking marijuana while driving. Inside her vehicle, police found open alcohol in a cooler. They also discovered Vargas had 18 grams of marijuana, according to the news release.

Vargas was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, possession of marijuana, driving with open alcohol and speeding, police said.

After her arrest in Berwyn in January 2016, her driver's license was suspended. But the suspension had been served and she had a valid license when stopped in Riverside on Monday. She was still under court supervision for the Berwyn arrest, Riverside police Chief Tom Weitzel said.

Vargas posted $100 bond after Monday's arrest, Weitzel said.

"She had no reservations about driving drunk, speeding and smoking cannabis on her way to a court-mandated DUI counseling session," Weitzel said. "When the officer questioned her about this she said, well I guess I learned my lesson."

"Cologne court announces verdict in "3kg of gold dowry demanded" case

Humboldt / Gremberg -
Because they beat up a 25-year-old in front of the mosque on the Taunusstraße in Humboldt / Gremberg, two cousins were sentenced to seven months' imprisonment on a suspended sentence before the magistrate's office.
The dispute broke out in December 2016, when friends and relatives of a wedding couple gathered in the mosque's offices to negotiate the marriage contract. The 25-year-old, at that time the bridegroom's grooms, had lodged a protest when the bride's side demanded "three kilos of gold" instead of a prearranged small money as a dowry from the bridegroom.

Too late to edit, if you google-translate the rest of the text (I would not post the full story and infringe), there´s even more oriental customs in play.

The bride´s family is of course fully within their rights to extort money and beat up people, stufff like this should really by handled by a Scharia court more "knowledgeable" and "understanding" on the subject.

As stated before, the sentence is a joke. If I tried any of this they´d have me examined by a psychiatrist, but of course its completely normal behaviour in others and non-punishment will surely cure those cousins of their antics.

Different set of justice for different people.

Also, to echo some of the the article's reader comments, I maintain that negotiating the dowry in gold (rather than in camels) should be seen as a postive step in their integration into German society. ;)

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two teens have been arrested after they allegedly stole an ice cream cake as part of a social media prank.

According to an arrest reports, it happened on Tuesday, just before 5 p.m., at the Dunkin' Donuts on 1653 KY-192 in London, Kentucky.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Seth Messer and 19-year-old Ajayci Cotton walked into the Dunkin' Donuts. Messer allegedly stole the ice cream cake while authorities say Cotton shot video of the crime and uploaded it to social media.

Both teens were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.

According to the Associated Press, a news release says the cake was valued at $25-$30. Sheriff's spokesman Deputy Gilbert Acciardo says employees confronted the pair, but Messer used profane language to tell them it was now his cake. Acciardo says Messer asked if "We're really going to jail for this?" upon his arrest.
