More on the incident I posted about on the bank robbery/carjacking/murder:

Quote:

Valrico carjacking suspect, James Hanson, has lengthy criminal past including a life-sentence

WFTS Digital Staff
6:06 PM, Aug 06, 2019

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The main suspect Hillsborogh County deputies
believe robbed a bank in Valrico, carjacked a 68-year-old man
and lead police on pursuit has a deep criminal past.

The ABC Action News I-Team began digging through 39-year-old James Hanson's criminal past as soon as his name was released.

We learned, at one time, Hanson was serving a life sentence for robbery and being a habitual violent felony offender.

Missing carjacking victim found dead

In 2003, a jury convicted him of robbery with a fire arm and sentenced him to life in prison.

In 2016, he appealed that sentence claiming ineffective counsel.

His sentence was reduced to 20 years, with the possibility of parole after 15.
He served 16 years and was released on July 2.

According to documents from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Hanson has been charged in the past with burglary with assault and battery, pass forged, larceny, burglary of dwelling with assault, burglary of dwelling unarmed, grand theft, trespassing after warning, robbery with firearm.

In addition, Hanson was charged in North Carolina with robbery with dangerous weapon, possession of stolen goods and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Charges from today’s carjacking, robbery and death of Mathew Korattiyil are pending.

The guy who committed a bank robbery/carjacking/murder was previously sentenced to life in prison for armed robbery.

Most guys with life sentences don’t go around robbing banks and murdering people.

The guy couldn’t go much more than a month without committing another robbery.
They messed up when the gave him early release. :x

This one just hit close to home.

I am not a customer of the bank this douchebag robbed (but I am of the bank which is literally next door).
It's a sad state of affairs when you cannot go to a bank during daylight hours (almost mid day) and then be car jacked and murdered by some douchbag that should never have been out on the streets.

Another interesting story comes over on the crime blotter:

Woman admits that the $6,233 in CASH that they found hidden in her cooch was stolen from this guy she knew, BUT with regard to the clear plastic bag containing one gram of meth, also found hidden in her cooch, , well she has no clue how that got there or who it belongs to.

Meth and $6,233 in cash in the hot box . . .
That must be a fairly spacious lady garden she is sporting . . .
Talk about a well-stocked pocketbook . . .
That pot had a lot more than just honey in it . . .
Good thing that bag of meth didn't bust open inside her woo hoo, or she would've really been Whoo Hoooing!

A mugger came a cropper after trying to mug someone in Majorca just as a Boxing couple were walking by...

Quote:
A professional boxing couple from Leicestershire successfully stopped a thief while on holiday in Majorca.

Double world Thai boxing champion Iman Barlow, and her middleweight boxer boyfriend Stan Stannard, stopped a man from having his watch stolen.

The pair said two people on a motorbike repeatedly hit the victim on the head.

Mr Stannard, from Melton Mowbray, said: "Fortunately we were in the right place at the right time and the robbers weren't."

The couple were on the Spanish island with friends when they saw what appeared to be a fight outside the Don Bigote Hotel in Palma Nova on Saturday.

Ms Barlow, 26, said: "It appeared that there were two people on a motorcycle, and another person that was being robbed.

"We worked out that the robbers were trying to nick the man's watch."

Ms Barlow, a Muay Thai boxer, added: "[One guy] ran straight past me and I thought, 'should I do something?'

"I took the opportunity and front kicked him, he went flying and made a strange noise."

The man continued running, which led 23-year-old Mr Stannard to run after him.

"Stan left hooked him when we caught up with him, and he fell to the floor," Ms Barlow said.

The pair then sat on one of the assailants until police arrived.

Ms Barlow said: "The family were just really grateful and happy. They offered us money but we refused. That's not why we did it.

"But the lady persisted and gave us 50 Euros, so it bought our group some burgers for the afternoon."

Ms Stannard, who makes his professional boxing debut later this month, said: "I think instinct kicked in, and we saw that there was a distressed family and someone getting hurt.

"When he decided to run away with the watch we just leapt into action."

Guess where did she kick?

In cases like this, no fouls. Every hit counts and obviously hurts.

It was the sound of his balls going up into his throat.

Yeah, must be that. When properly nutkicked there is no sound, but just silently falling down in agony.
