DOCUMENT: CrimeCops: Female Diners Beat IHOP Worker Bloody
Melee at Memphis eatery was filmed by pancake house patron

MARCH 19--An IHOP manager was left bloodied after he was attacked by rowdy female patrons who threw punches, chairs, and plates at the worker, according to Tennessee police who are seeking to identify the assailants.

According to cops, the melee touched off early Friday morning at an IHOP restaurant in Memphis after victim Mohammad Al Hourani, 28, asked the group to “please keep it down.”

As detailed in a Memphis Police Department report, Al Hourani told cops that when the diners “started to get louder” he “asked the suspects to just leave.” Still yelling, the diners departed the IHOP, but “kept coming in and out of the business taunting” Al Hourani, the report notes.

Al Hourani said he called 911, but before police arrived, he was attacked by one of the suspects near the IHOP’s front door.

As seen in the above video, which was shot by a diner unconnected to the raucous party of five, the manager fought with one woman near a booth while two of her friends threw plates at the worker from point blank range. Al Hourani told cops he was struck in the head several times.

After the 5’ 8” manager bodyslammed the woman with whom he was tangling, one of the plate throwers launched a chair at Al Hourani. He responded by throwing the chair back at the woman, knocking her to the ground. Further chair tossing followed before the attackers finally left IHOP and Al Hourani staggered away.

The IHOP employee, who was bleeding profusely from cuts to his head and face, was later transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Al Hourani told officers that “one of the reasons why the suspects got so upset was because he kept calling them sirs even though the suspects were dressed like ladies.” The police report identifies the assailants--both men and women--as between the ages of 20 and 25.

Memphis police have not made any arrests in connection with the 12:30 AM incident, which has been classified as a felony aggravated assault. (1 page)

Hernando County deputies say they have arrested a 17-year-old girl for making multiple bomb threats against Central High School.

The school received five bomb threats in four days, leading to many students staying home and an increased law enforcement presence on the campus.
The sheriff's office is not releasing the suspect's name, but they say they are speaking to the prosecutor's office about charging her as an adult.

Judge Accused Of Breaking Into Neighbor’s Home, Taking Women’s Underwear

March 29, 2018 at 11:31 pm

TOWN OF ISLIP, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – A Long Island judge stands accused of breaking into a neighbor’s home, but it’s what police say he stole that’s baffling residents even more. He’s accused of taking worn women’s underwear from the residence.

It happened around 9 a.m. Thursday on Donna Place in East Islip.

“There was a 23-year-old girl home alone. She heard noise in the house, she saw an intruder,” Suffolk County Police Chief of Department Stuart Cameron said.

When the intruder realized someone was home, police said he ran off. But officers quickly caught up with him a couple blocks away.

Turns out, it was a man who should know better, CBS2’s Jessica Layton reported.

District court judge Robert Cicale lives right across the street from the home that he’s accused of burglarizing.

“He was found to be in possession of soiled female undergarments that we believe were either proceeds from today’s burglary or proceeds from a prior burglary at the same location,” Cameron said.

The 49-year-old was elected to the bench in 2015. Before that, he served as Islip town attorney.

It’s unclear how Cicale got into the home or how well he knew his neighbor before the bizarre burglary, Layton reported.

The judge will not only spend a night in jail, but he’ll face a different judge Friday morning when he’s arraigned in a Central Islip courtroom.

A 14-year-old Winter Haven Christian School student told police he had been listening to rap music and wanted to feel "powerful" and "cool," according to police.

But his chosen means to feel empowered wound up breaking the law.

Winter Haven police arrested the student on Wednesday after they found a Kimel AP-9 semiautomatic pistol with 11 rounds of ammunition and two knives inside a backpack that was tucked inside a locker.

Police say he told them the gun belonged to his father and that he had retrieved it from his home the night before school.

No students or staff members were injured and there was never any threat made by the student to harm anyone, police said in a release.

Administrators at the school had found the backpack around 2 p.m. and called police. The student was booked into the Polk County Detention for Juvenile Justice and charged with possession of a firearm on school grounds and two counts of possession of a weapon on school grounds.

"This should hopefully serve as a warning to any student who thinks it’s cool to carry a weapon, especially on school grounds," Chief Charlie Bird said in a police release. "There is absolutely no room for 'cool' when it involves any sort of weapon in a school with the recent events our country has endured."

So glad for the uplifting effect that rap music has on today's youth...

2 men sentenced to probation for gang-rape of 13-year-old girl, triggering backlash

By Nicole Darrah | Fox News

A family in Colorado is outraged after two men, who were accused of gang-raping a 13-year-old girl with their brothers and cousins, were only sentenced to probation.

Tommy Williams, 20, and Clarence Williams, 19, were each sentenced on Tuesday to a minimum of 10 years of sex offender intensive supervised probation, with a maximum of life on probation, KKTV reported.

The men are two of six suspects accused of sexually assaulting the young teen in December 2016 inside of the Stonebrook Terrace apartment complex in Colorado Springs.

The victim's grandfather was shocked at the sentencing, telling the news station: "There was six of them and they gang-raped my granddaughter."

The group of suspects — some of whom are reportedly related as cousins or brothers and identified as Jacolby Williams, Tyron Williams, James Williams, and a juvenile, in addition to Tommy and Clarence — were with the girl on Dec. 19, according to The Gazette.

The victim told police she knew one of the men, and he invited her into the apartment to play video games. The 13-year-old said she went to the home with some female friends, but they left when she went to the bathroom.

Arrest records, KKTV reported, state that two of the men then pulled the teen from the bathroom and forced her into a bedroom where the other four suspects were waiting.

The victim's grandmother said at a sentencing in February that her granddaughter was passed around the group of men "like a hand on a clock" during the attack. She added in court Tuesday that the 13-year-old may never be able to have children.

In January 2017, Tyron Williams was also sentenced to 10 years to life of sex offender intense supervised probation. Before his sentencing, he apologized to the victim and her family, and reportedly said that "If I knew she was underage, it wouldn't have happened in the first place."

James Williams was sentenced in August 2016 to five years of probation, and the unidentified juvenile reportedly has an impending court date. Jacolby Williams' trial was scheduled for March 5; it's unclear what transpired.

Right, so he regrets raping an underaged female but would have no qualms about raping a female who was 18 or older???

Probation for gang raping a 13 yr old white girl........ An outrage. You know she wanted it. No reason to ruin the lives of six innocent black men.

Man Fatally Stabbed At Steakhouse With Daughter On His Lap; Homeless Suspect Arrested

April 19, 2018 at 8:00 pm

[news video at above link]

VENTURA (CBSLA) – A man stabbed in the neck while sitting with his young daughter on his lap at a Ventura steakhouse Wednesday night has died, and a 49-year-old homeless man was arrested in what’s believed to be a random attack.

According to Ventura police, at about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, the suspect, identified as Jamal Jackson, entered Aloha Steakhouse, located at 364 S. California St., and stabbed a man in the neck with a knife in what appeared to be a random attack. The victim, later identified as Anthony Mele, was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening wounds, where he underwent surgery. However, authorities confirmed that he died from his injuries Thursday.

Mele was dining with his wife and 5-year-old daughter at the time, police said. His daughter was sitting in his lap when he was attacked. Mele’s wife and child were not hurt.

Good Samaritans chased the suspect, Jackson, onto the Ventura Promenade, where officers arrived and took him into custody.

Prior to the stabbing, witnesses told police the suspect was waving a knife and threatening people outside the restaurant.

On Thursday afternoon, Mele’s mother posted a picture of her son on Facebook asking for prayers as he was fighting for his life. However, in an updated post Thursday night, she wrote: “Thank you for your prayers — my son Anthony did not make it… just unbelievable.”

Officials are trying to determine if drugs or alcohol played a role in the attack.

Folks who frequent the restaurant and the area were stunned by the news, although some admit there are concerns about the homeless population.

“Who would have thought that someone there with his wife and child just having dinner, completely unaware of anything going on,” said Ventura resident Shannon Rice. “My thoughts are with him and his wife and child.”

For Mele’s heartbroken family, they told KCAL that they are struggling to come to terms with what happened.

Jackson was booked in the Ventura County Jail on attempted murder charges, according to inmate records. He’s been charged with murder and child endangerment and is being held on $500,000 bail.
