Co-op versus the AI

Players.................2ndAcr and Chi

Game started with both Corps close together in NW corner of map. We both started heading down to the SW map area. Got my Corps down into our area and has just started to deploy when Rebs spotted close in. Thus began my rapid deployment which had no sooner begun than a 3rd Reb div was spotted even closer. Ran back and started to try and put a halt to them, only to find my newly deployed div decided to also come join the fun. Thus began the 2 divisions packed in amongst each other. Total chaos.

The wisdom of my commanders sometimes makes me want a "shot them now" button. I had a huge artillery park they created which only 3-4 of 8 batteries could even fire. All the while it was nose to nose infantry on infantry where I needed the artillery. Took over 30 min to beat the rebs back down into the valley and I left a carpet of dead on my little ridge line all the way down and across the creek.

Chi Corps had swung in and slammed into trouble and got beat up on. We ended the battle at about 3 hours due to our troops being in no shape to continue the fight. Losses were low on both sides, but all 4 divisions totally exhausted and very low on ammo.
