To take screen shots in game of battle action, hit the F4 key, that will then save the screenshot automatically into your SOW works folder. I took 3 rapid shots in a test game all within 30 seconds and saw no lag. So now we can take shots without alt tabbing out and all that crap and the risk that that entails. I will now be taking shots in game and posting them into new AAR's.

Others might want to do the same and add their views of the battle to the AAR's also.

Okay, also you will need to convert the screenshots to JPEG files to have a prayer of posting them here. They are too big the way the game saves the screenshots.

I tried the F4 key in a sandbox to test it. No joy in that no new files were saved to the SOW Work file. Is there a setup of some sort and how does one convert to JPEG? Thanks.

To convert to jpg, find the file, open with Paint, use "save as" and select jpg.

More advanced paint programs allow higher quality jpg's

Did you find a folder in the Work folder called Screenshots?

My Screenshot folder was auto created the moment I hit the f4 key.

No. I looked in all the SOW folders and sub folders. Just the F4 key, no alt or shift key..?

Is your F4 key the "PrntScr" key?

Nope. 99% sure I hit the F4 which is the actual F4............you got a Norbsoft directory also? It could be slapping it inside of that also.

I dumped the original Norbsoft SOW download after I installed the SOW 150 package with all the battles. Did a search for any "screenshot" files, no joy. Good MP on Saturday. I'll definitely watch for the rebs left hook next time.....
