I agree with this ... but if it was me ... I wouldn't say it ... I would want to keep everyone guessing. Tight lips enhance security. I wouldn't say it - I would do it. And in the "joe-ist" world ... actions speak louder than words.

I doubt that Theresa is not so exited about Trump's ideas of water boarding and other forms of "Verschärfte Vernehmung".

So it goes, again... :(

Bad things happen in war ... always have ... but that's why we only want to go to war when it is ABSOLUTELY necessary - we don't do "adventurism" in Joe-ism. That being said ... if we have to go to war ... then bad things will happen ... and "waterboarding" would hardly be the worst of them ...

I don't quite follow how or why PM May would be regarded as "Terrible." Could someone fill me in on that?

Her record as Home Secretary was absolutely dire.

She said she would control migration - she didn't, to put it mildly.

While failing to do that she brought in the most draconian surveillance laws imaginable.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Investi ... s_Act_2016

No warrants required, any government agency remotely to do with enforcement can have a peek if your porn habits if they like. And that's the watered down version, her first attempt was blocked by the Liberal Democrats when they were in coalition a few years ago.

She seems to be doing better as PM so far, admittedly. But even there, bear in mind she campaigned for Remain in the referendum, just subtly, ready to turn her coat. An unedifying run up to her premiership IMO.

But if she delivers Brexit much (all?) will be forgiven.

Nice record. You guys have had about as much luck with your "leaders" as we have for far too many years eh!?

There is something _wrong_ with our systems when a real doer like Trump is as rare as he is. Somehow our societies seem predisposed to produce mediocre political leaders who are too cowardly to take bold measures when they are called for.

In my opinion, many of the measure Trump has taken should have been taken on 12 Sept through about 31 Dec 2001.

I certainly don't agree with everything he is on about, but so refreshing to have a leader who just doesn't give a fuck what the establishments want, and does what HE thinks will make a real difference.

I suppose Nigel Farage is about the closest thing you guys have to that?
