If you guys shoot at a vessel named "Baby Jesus" that will be seriously bad PR.

This is getting a little bit silly.

Does a boat named after Jesus go around just looking to be sacrificed for the Spanish people?

They do it all the time, it's not news.

Shooting at Baby Jesus would be funny though!

Well, if the Spanish attacked/captured Gibraltar and the Brits wanted to press the matter, they could land in the north as "liberators" and try to setup some airstrips and gain air superiority in the north, land some troops etc. ... and fight a "penninsular war" ... might be a tough business though ... can the RAF beat the Spanish Airforce? We would get to find out. If the RAF can sustain itself in the north and enough troops and supplies can be ferried in by the RN to hold the ground, then the Brits would have a negotiating position and things could go from there. But I'm not sure the Brits can pull that off or whether they would want to.

Why fight symmetrically?

Arm the Basques for a year or two, then stage a Humanitarian Invasion.

There's not going to be any war with Spain, such a thing would be unthinkable, on both sides I imagine.

The two negotiating sides are just feeling each other out is all. The first thing in a negotiation is to say something outrageously unacceptable. Theresa May has said if there's a terrible deal she'll just walk away which is the right thing to say. If the EU really wants that then so be it, but I'm sure they don't any more than much of the UK does.

Ask this guy to prepare a video with predictions of a war between the UK and Spain

Some of the videos are actually quite good...

Looks like a potential CMNAO scenario to me.
