The blind eye that retarded "cultural sensitivity" notions have led to is despicable, abominable perhaps. Mr. Freysinger speaks true and clear on that.

However, I also take encouragement from the fact that this man, obviously a politician was able to make such statements and was not only booed off the stage, but received standing ovations. All is not lost, there is a lot of change left to fought for, particularly in Europe.

So they finally arrested someone connected to the Rotherham scandal:

Rotherham child-sex victim confronts her alleged abuser in the street... but SHE is arrested by a van load of police --“arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences.”

Five men have been jailed for a total of 28-and-a-half years for trafficking a 13-year-old girl and forcing her to sleep with men in hotel rooms.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was told she was a 'nice, beautiful girl' before being coerced into having sex with the men in August last year, a court heard.

A jury unanimously found Shakeal Rehman, 26 and Mohammed Shapal, 22, from Bradford, guilty of trafficking along with Yaseen Amini, 36, and Bekir Rasheed, 36, at Sheffield Crown Court today.

[Mug shots of the 5 at above link]

Rehman was sentenced to 12 years after being found guilty of rape, while Shapal was given four years for engaging in sexual activity with a child.

Amini was given five-and-a-half years and a fifth man, Usman Ali, was jailed for three years after they were also found guilty of abusing the 13-year-old.

Yaseen Rasheed wept as he was jailed for four years for trafficking.

The girl revealed graphic details of the sexual assaults during the trial, saying she frequently cried and asked the men 'why are you doing this to me?'

She had just turned 13 when she took a bus from her home town of Sheffield to Bradford, where she was befriended by the men, who are not all known to one another, the court heard.

The young girl told police that she had previously been to Bradford in June of last year to visit a former boyfriend, after which her father had told her he 'swore he would kill her' if she 'did it again'.

Two months later, she decided to run away from home as she was 'scared of her mum and dad', and when a neighbour wouldn't take her in, she decided to go and visit her said boyfriend.

She enlisted the help of a taxi driver, who allowed her to stay with him for the night, before he took her to Sheffield bus station the following day where she boarded a bus to Bradford.

The 13-year-old said she began wandering around the city centre and approached a Kurdish man who she was later told was called 'Shaz'.
The man is currently wanted by police for questioning about the exploitation.

She was then allegedly taken to his home in Bradford and spent two nights there.

It was then that while wandering the streets she was picked up in a car by Rehman and Shapal, who referred to himself as 'Baby'.

Prosecutor Thomas Storey said: 'What you're dealing with is a completely vulnerable and, in all probability, a psychologically damaged young girl who was taken advantage of by these five defendants when she ran away from home in August of last year.

'She was taken to the places named by the defendants with the clear intention that sexual activity would take place, and there was no reasonable basis for any of them to think she was over 16.

'After driving around with her for a while they took her to a hotel for the night with the intention of some sexual activity taking place.

'Once she was at the hotel she was raped by Rehman.

'He held her around the neck so she could not breathe and raped her.

'He left the room and was replaced a little later by Shapal, who spent the night with her.

'During the night he too entered into sexual activity with her.

'The next day, having been abandoned, she was picked up by Ali in his car. He drove her a short distance before he too had sexual intercourse with her in his vehicle.

'A number of days later she was taken by Rasheed to a party at Amini's home.

During her time in Bradford, the girl was bought presents by the men she came into contact with, including a pair of shoes from Primark, a bracelet and an ankle bracelet.

The court also heard evidence from Shapal, who said the teenager had told him she was 16 and pleaded with him to stay the night with her.

'On the way to get food, she was asking if I would stay with her the night,' he said.

'She kept on pleading and pleading with me to stay.'

He said the girl told him she had arrived in Bradford to meet her boyfriend, but he'd stood her up and she was in the city on her own.

He claimed she also told him she'd previously lost a baby.

'I felt sorry for her,' he said. 'I didn't want to leave her in such a state.

She didn't know anyone so I said I would stay the night.'

Shapal told the jury he had no intention of anything sexual happening, but then they got into bed and started kissing and cuddling.

'She looked me in the eyes and said, 'I love you, I want to get married to you, I want to have a baby with you', he said.

'I thought it was a bit strange - I didn't really know her.'

The court heard that when the girl was interviewed by police, she worried about getting into trouble, and was embarrassed to disclose embarrassing information to adults she had never met before.

Asked by officers: 'What do you think of these people now?' she replied: 'I want to forget them'.

28 years split between 5 doesn't seem all that harsh to me... 6 years each, out in 3 on good behaviour?

Fucks sake.

75 PERCENT OF BIRMINGHAM’S CHILD SEX GROOMERS ARE ASIAN. FOUR IN FIVE OF THEIR VICTIMS ARE WHITE GIRLS.

by DONNA RACHEL EDMUNDS 18 Oct 2014, 3:20 AM PDT

West Midlands Police have admitted knowing since 2012 that 75 percent of child sex groomers in the Birmingham region of the United Kingdom are ethnically Asian, and more than four out of five of their victims are young white girls. They compiled an in-depth study into Child Sexual Exploitation two years ago, the conclusions of which had not been seen until now.

A confidential document uncovered by the Birmingham Mail also reveals that perpetrators were left to carry on abusing children whilst their victims were moved to safe houses in other regions.

The details appear to have been found in a copy of the Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board’s (BSCB) Sexual Exploitation Prevention and Intervention Strategy, which was published in September 2013 but never released to the media. The strategy seems to have drawn on a number of reports by agencies including the West Midlands Police and the Sandwell Safeguarding Children Board (SSCB), and was subsequently circulated amongst the agencies in a bid to get to grips with the problem.

The Sandwell Safeguarding report, which in turn used 2012 figures from a West Midlands Police report – a sanitised version of which was handed to the SSCB – stated “Intelligence suggests that of potential suspects identified, 75 per cent of those known are of Asian ethnicity.

“This has mirrored other forces’ experiences of known offenders and, as we have seen from the Derbyshire, Lancashire and Rochdale cases, has the potential to impact on trust and confidence within local communities across the West Midlands.”

The SSCB report goes on to detail how 82 percent of victims were white girls between the ages of 14 and 16. 80 percent of the victims had been reported missing more than once, and 38 percent had been in, or were in care.

The Birmingham Mail has previously reported that Birmingham and other local authorities were failing to offer runaways “return interviews”, which are useful in picking up on whether a child has been abused whilst missing. According to the Mail, between 2008 and 2012 there were 6,000 instances of children running away from care homes, both state owned and privately run. One chuld ran away 96 times. Yet the report admits “We know that there is a clear link between children who go missing and the risk of child sexual exploitation.”

The strategy report uses damning language to illustrate the failings of all the partner agencies in dealing with the problem. It reads “The partnership arrangements in Birmingham are currently failing to protect our children from child sexual exploitation.

“Perhaps the clearest indicator of this is reflected in that at the time of writing this strategy, there are three young people, the victims of child sexual exploitation, who are subject to a Secure Accommodation Order whilst the perpetrators of these horrific crimes remain at liberty and continue to target other children. The absence of the prosecutions of these offenders is startling.

“Partner inaction may indicate that there is sometimes a reluctance to use the statutory powers available to them, and this is unacceptable.”

At the time of writing the strategy report, the BSCB said there were 111 young people currently known to be at risk of grooming and sexual exploitation. This involved behaviour such as inviting young girls to parties in hotels, offering them gifts and plying them with drink or drugs before sexually abusing them.

Just under half of the girls were aged between 11 and 15, with one in three being 15 years of age. A quarter of the girls were 16 years old. The oldest was 19, and the youngest were two girls aged just 11. However, the report admits that the total number of girls being abused in this way was not definitively known.

“Whilst there is some understanding of hot spots, victim profile and trends within Birmingham, the partners do not yet have an adequate understanding of the size of the problem of which the local community is facing with regards to CSE, nor is enough known around the totality around the number of victims and perpetrators,” the report said.

“The need to target, prosecute and disrupt those sexual predators who are responsible for the grooming and exploitation of children and young people is paramount.

“Given the under-reported nature of child sexual exploitation, it is crucial that young people, families and carers, professionals and the community share intelligence on perpetrators, no matter how insignificant the information may seem, with the authorities.

“How authorities deal with, analyse and make connections with that perpetrator intelligence is vital, as is the timely feedback to those partners to use that analysis to co-ordinate prevention work, victim safety planning and disruption and prosecution of perpetrators.

“Given the research from the Office of the Children’s Commissioner within CSE and the link with gangs in Birmingham, the interface between CSE screening and referrals into MAGU (Multi-Agency Gang Unit) is crucial.”

What is becoming increasingly clear is the apathy with which all agencies tackled the problem, preferring workshops and strategies to arrests and prosecutions. For example last year the Children’s Society released a statement on child grooming which read “Recent high-profile cases of child sexual exploitation – such as in Oxford and Rochdale – have involved children being groomed or exploited in hotels, restaurants and other commercial premises.

“A number of young people supported by The Children’s Society project in the area mentioned being taken to ‘hotel parties’, where they were given drugs and alcohol and then sexually abused.

“In response, The Children’s Society, West Midlands Police, Coventry Community Safety Team and other local charities contacted hotels in the city and ran awareness-raising sessions for staff.”

Last month, West Midlands Police said that it was dealing with 57 current sexual exploitation cases, 130 suspected cases and 67 investigations of online offenses against children.

Apparently the Brits have allowed drug and prostitution income to rise ... and the adjustments to EU contributions include growth or decline in national income from ALL sources!

Quote:
...The additional payment was requested after the European Commission's statistics agency, Eurostat, reviewed the economic performances of member states since 1995, and readjusted the contributions made by each state over the past four years based on their pace of growth.

The BBC's head of statistics Anthony Reuben said prostitution, drugs and tobacco smuggling were not included in national income before 2002 when they should have been, under accounting rules.

In contrast, prostitution was included in Germany's own national accounts and given EU budget contributions are based on national income, this partly explains why the UK has been underpaying and Germany overpaying, he added...

Rotherham Victim Says Abusers ‘Untouchable’
NATIONAL NEWS 29th January 2015 SKY News

By Jason Farrell, Sky News Correspondent

A survivor of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham claims she still sees her abusers “driving young girls in their car”, as a Sky News investigation reveals hundreds of new cases continue to emerge.

In August 2014 the Alexis Jay report identified 1,400 cases of child sexual exploitation in the Yorkshire town.

But Sky News has learned that hundreds more cases were known to authorities prior to its publication and that hundreds more are being reported.

Victims continue to feel let down by authorities.

One survivor “Gemma” told Sky News: “It’s still going on if not worse, because now they’re having to hide it more.

“I’m still seeing my abusers driving young girls in their car. They’re untouchable.”

The Alexis Jay report found that hundreds of children had been sexually exploited, mostly by Asian gangs, and that Rotherham Council and South Yorkshire police had failed to tackle the problem.

Jayne Senior, who ran an outreach programme for victims in Rotherham called Risky Business, has revealed that she reported nearly 1,700 cases of grooming or sexual exploitation to the council’s children’s services between 1999 and 2011.

This was a shorter time period than that examined by the report.

“I was accused of saying too much, of sharing too much information, reporting too much intelligence,” she told Sky News in her first ever interview.

“Risky Business didn’t make all this up. It was accused of making it all up and Alexis Jay exonerated all of that.”

The report found Risky Business was seen by the borough’s social care services “as something of a nuisance”.

It added that “there were too many examples of young people who were properly referred by Risky Business to children’s social care and who somehow fell through the net and were not treated with the priority they deserved”.

Risky Business was shut down in 2011 and victims have expressed frustration that a recent application to set up a new support group has been turned down by the council despite recommendations in the Jay report.

“It shouldn’t have been shut down,” one victim told Sky News.

“Because that was an agency that was trying to tackle the situation. But knowing now that it was all a cover up then I think it was closed down because they were trying to tackle the problem.”

Local MP Sarah Champion said she is also baffled as to why Risky Business was discontinued.

“Genuinely, I have no idea why it was shut down. Why would you shut down a successful organisation that was demonstrating there was a massive need for their services and was proving results. They were getting prosecutions.”

The Rotherham MP is leading calls for a national task force to be set up to combat large scale child abuse across the UK. She said she has been “overwhelmed” with new cases coming to her for help and advice.

As well as support many victims are still seeking justice.

“Gemma” complained that local police “turned up suited an booted” outside her home with a panic alarm – showing neighbours that she was someone who had reported abuse.

“All they care about is getting a statement,” she said. “Six months on we’ve had no arrests, we’ve had no charges, evidence is still being lost.”

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “We look at each case individually to establish the most appropriate way to contact and visit victims throughout an investigation to ensure their personal safety is maintained.

“South Yorkshire Police has not received a complaint in relation to this alleged incident.”

Leader of Rotherham Council, Cllr Paul Lakin, said : “We accepted the recommendations of Professor Jay’s report and immediately acted to address the issues raised.

“We fully acknowledge that we should have done more in the past and have offered our sincere and heartfelt apologies to the victims and survivors of child sexual exploitation.

“Make no mistake, protecting children and supporting the police in tackling child sexual exploitation is our highest priority.

“With regard to the 2002 Home Office researcher’s report, we take allegations of a “cover up” very seriously and have made strenuous efforts to obtain a full copy of the report. As yet, this has not been forthcoming.

“We are also working with our partners, including South Yorkshire Police, to identify cases where individuals may not have had the access to the services and support that they need.”

Rotherham Victims ‘Sacrificed To Save Labour’ Says Survivor

by Andre Walker
10 Feb 20150

A survivor of child abuse in Rotherham claimed victims were ignored to ensure Labour did not lose votes in the town. The young girls were abused by Muslim men for years on end, but council did nothing to stop the crime.

The woman, known as ‘Jessica’, told the Daily Star that Labour politicians had “buried the truth to suit their own ends”. She said: “I’ve said all along that this has been about two things – money and power.

“Girls like me were sacrificed because no-one wanted the boat rocked because they knew it’d cost them votes if the finger of blame was pointed and because they thought we were worthless.”

Solicitor Dave Greenwood, who represents 38 victims, added: “There was an echelon of people who scratched each other’s backs. But I think there’s an ‘X Factor’ at play here. It’s quite apparent there was a feeling of the need to maintain the Asian vote to preserve Labour’s majority in the town.”

Jessica’s claims come after it was exposed that both the Police and Rotherham’s local MP failed to act when allegations of abuse were brought to their attention. Things got so serious that in 2003 the Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation (PACE) group warned the Home Office that South Yorkshire Police were leaking to the perpetrators.

Officials claimed they would take the matter to the Labour Home Secretary, David Blunket, but no action appears to have been taken. Later they warned Labour MP Denis MacShane about the abuse in a five page letter but he also took no action.

There have been suggestions for some time that victims were sacrificed to ensure Muslims kept voting Labour. But this is the first time a victim had made the claim themselves. Many of them spent years being ignored and in some cases were even harassed by the Police when their parents complained.
